Hi
Very sadly, one of my beautiful Vivid G2 piano black gloss speakers was knocked over causing a couple of deep gauges and some smaller scratches on the outside of the enclosure. The gauges were caused by hitting against metal parts of other gear and are roughly 1/4" to 1/2" wide and less than 1/8" deep into the fiberglass.
I live in regional Australia so access to specialized repairers is limited other than auto panel shops, furniture restorers etc. Transport issues would make DIY preferable but I'm guessing not really possible for a great finish?
Appreciate any advice on expert repairs, especially the type of paint and finish to make it as "invisible as possible.
Cheers
David
