I finely got my JBL 1400 Array clones into a dedicated space. Cleaned out a bedroom and repurposed. Work in progress just moved it up to the first floor a couple days ago. PITA on the move but well worth it. My back still hurts! The old space in the basement was cramped and really didn't have enough space for them.

After just a couple of days trying to work out placement and listening position so far so good. Did some bass sweeps and have a couple of very high Q rattles to track down. Got pressurization to below 25Hz and overall smoother than I was expecting. I found a good listening position where the inevitable room modes are not too bad and mostly suppressed.

Did the stereo imaging tests and not perfect but good place to start from very solid except for the extreme high end. Speakers doing a good job of disappearing. Now the fun of getting everything dialed in with toe-in and small position changes listener chair as well.

Rob :)
