nick doshi had all
his stuff very very good sounding and the speakers in there sorry forgot there name right now always sound great when I hear them. Same
for usher speakers
one man inside the room said they were using a audio technia cart something 1000
it was
good but below nicks tape. he said they broke there best cart and to fix it is 8k. Wow.
still a great analog room to me. Was there many times.

I have great difficulty understanding why anyone would watch video from that person. Taking restaurant advice from the kid at the drive in window at McD is to me about the same.
Audio shows are just that a show and they can only at best give an inkling of what products are about. I have said many times the room, seating position and the placement of the speakers are the foundation for getting great sound. This in a hotel room is virtually impossible and particularly impossible in the few hours allowed to get the gear to the room, unpacked and working. They are important at a people level as it is a time to gather, talk, enjoy and exchange opinions and ideas. I love the shows! I only wished this time that I had some of our business partners were able to attend. I didn't get to see any of the show once it opened however I thought the show was busy, attitude was upbeat and that people were enjoying the event. I do not think that anyone is trying to take advantage of anyone and that we all know what we are signing up for. No show environment is going to be perfect, no show will go without issues and I agree with some of the opinions here that things like name badges for all would be a really good idea. My company will continue to support the events, hopefully do better next year as our experience in the room will allow some pre show planning to try to get better and better results going forward. I know how hard it is for everyone to go and put forth the effort to show and entertain all the visitors. I do not see this as the attempt to take advantage of anyone.
I have an expression that I use frequently and I am sorry I don't remember who's quote it is but it goes like
"perfect is the enemy of great" No event can be perfect but it does not mean it can't be great or at least great fun.
Till the next imperfect event Bending Wave will be there and try our best.

Anti-hero of those well aware the heightened chances of being awkwardly recorded from multiple angles for posterity. The issue goes much deeper than image. You see a lot of adults better suited for an Axpona opting to attend a CanJam or watch low production value youtube evidence from either. Solely to be in an environment suitable to engaging with audio instead of other elements. Jay and Mikey fulfill that base requirement of publicity by spelling/pronouncing names correctly (not fact checked through actual viewing
).I suspect having a suitable length portion of any show removed of media and waving cell phone lenses would be appealing to almost any category of show attendee you have met in your long years of experience. A/V is a separate interest which still doesn't equate with going in front of the camera at any point in the day unprepared for the audience it will garner. BTW, I'm one of the tens of people who have watched your video series. There is no chance you would let any momentary lapse that actually embarrassed your guests get published. Yet part and parcel of coercing easy flow of subject matter in your presence was pairing up with Veronica to upset it slightly. To see what else can come out during an interview that would make it more interesting than walking down well worn conversational pathways. I see your approach as intrinsically valuable compared to the alternative mentioned above.

walked by it a few times, was going to go in but never did. i was more on the digital stuff as a focus. agree the sound in their rooms has always been good to great.
The speakers in Nick Doshi’s room are the Jeff Joseph Audio Pearl Graphene, his top of the line model.
The electronics were all Nick’s new EVO version of the line stage, tape preamp, phono preamp and mono blocks.
I was in their room for a while. I like their looks. They look like jewelry and might add up to overall long term listening pleasure. They were very proud of their analogue and went in long about their production and how long it takes to build and all. Sound wise, I liked their tonality and gave a lot of "sparkles", if you can understand what I mean. I can actually live triangle art gears.
Bazelio, this is a new model, the new Raven LS. It is belt drive as with all TW designs, although I believe the motor drive pulley is unconventionally on the back. Noting definitive but the LS slots between the Raven GT and Raven AC in terms of price and performance. I'm a fan of their tables so this is what I have found out thus far. If I get more detail I'll report back.
German made Dynamikks, models: Athos 10, Athos 12 ( evidently the designer really must have had an affinity for Alexander Dumas works
), and their flagship ATHOS (the latter should compete with any speaker system at ANY price, IMHO). Also, Odeon Helix, classic Jadis Eurythme.

Yeah, the OCD guy is a dealer. I dont see him going through the effort to set up a room. He just sits back and throws rocks. I used to watch some of his videos back during covid but have since stopped. He is one of the people who says that the stuff he sells is magic and everything else sucks. Not cool.
