At least it wasn't Wendy's.I dont even need an apology for the unsolicited disrespect, as the McDonalds thing will be a dis' I ll ride for years to come on this forum.
I have never seen that Cessaro before. Must be a new model. Thanks for recommending the album Mike.Your wish……
my best musical moment of Axpona so far was this album…..played in this room. Mono on a Miyajima Infinity Mono .7mil cart.
no surprise there. Jeff’s rooms always have the best music at shows.

Yeah, I dont think either of us wants to get pregnant. LOL.At least it wasn't Wendy's.
Yes as you mentioned it in your video but we are not allowed to go there on this forum so I expect my original post will be deleted sooner rather than later. I'm happy to discuss offline.Did you post about me standing for Human Rights yesterday Howie ?
If this is the case and you feel like you need to defend yourself (if you were, in fact attacked ....not opposed with to simply an opinion)? Please report the post. We will deal with it.Thank God. Its ridiculous Steve. Ill point out anyone starting the mud slinging with me to you. I NEVER start on your forums. I simply show up to stand for myself once its started.
I've had better luck with horns using amps that are not 'flea power'. This in a nutshell results in less distortion. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, most SETs are about 10% distortion at full power. Consider a zero feedback amp that only makes 1% distortion at full power and makes 60 Watts instead of 4. What distortion is that amp making at 4 Watts? The answer is several orders of magnitude less than the SET- resulting in smoother and more detailed sound on account of the lower distortion (distortion causes harshness and obscures detail).
When you get smoother and more detailed (instead of bright and detailed) that's when you're making progress.
Usually a driver properly crossed over has a reasonably flat impedance curve. But no speaker is actually flat! Fortunately the ear/brain system has a tipping point and will ignore minor frequency response variation; it pays far more attention to tonality caused by distortion! The brightness of solid state is a great example- most solid state amps are perfectly flat; the brightness is caused by a tiny amount of higher ordered harmonic distortion which the ear perceives as a tonality. So I wouldn't worry about the impedance curve of the driver, if its controlled by an attenuater in the crossover.
If you collected my forum posts you'd find I repeat myself a lot. Maybe a pamphlet?Ralph, I've said this to you before: Write that book! Even a collection of your forum posts could be a potential best seller.
Its a 1979 Laverda Jarama triple. Apparently a good year where only minor electrical issues are fixed by a Witt ignition and newer voltage regulator. Evanna collared me some years back at a show when she saw me wearing a jacket with 'Laverda' emblazoned on the back. Apparently she rode one too. For those not familiar, Laverdas are a lot like Ducatis except that if you see one on the road, its a good bet its been running its entire life while a Ducati probably spent a good portion of it in a variety of boxes.Ralph, that is a blurry pic but looks like a Guzzi or R-Bike ? Since you are in MN I hope you have an Aerostitch ! I think we need to organize an audio ride.. we can tour to rigs along the way.. Jeff Rowland is a touring guy, on and off road. Eveanna Manley tours as well..
Thank you kindly Tom. Earlier on this thread around page 13 to 15 someone posted a link to my Youtube vid about AXPONA 2022 where I attended and reported. Elliot responded by disparaging me by saying he did not know why anyone would take restaurant advice from the drive through window guy at McDonalds. This brought me to the thread. I dont consider this an attack more than it is an invitation for me to join the diatribe. I even mentioned this playground behavior is unfair to the intelligent readers we have here. Its dreg level and there are other websites where troglodytes convene. I even pitch WBF on one of my vids as an upscale alternative to AG. So no prob. If it comes up , Ill let you know .If this is the case and you feel like you need to defend yourself (if you were, in fact attacked ....not opposed with to simply an opinion)? Please report the post. We will deal with it.
The constant diatribe, attacks, back and forth, mudslinging add nothing to the "actual" discussion at hand, while at the same time, does this forum a disservice.
Simply report the post and we will deal with it.
Tom
Wow gorgeous pic !! God bless you for owning a 79 Laverda. ;-) I know what they are but have only had Cagiva, Aprilia, Duc, and a Husqvarna made by MV as far as Italian bikes. I still love Italian bikes, quirks and all. Did my Triumph, BMW and GasGas as far as rest of Europe then Harley, ATK and American Iron Horse for USA Bikes. Still have the Trusty ol XR650L Set up for Baja riding. Bicycling ?? dang it looks like work !! lol. (Just bought an E Bike to get my fat ass out there half pedaling)Its a 1979 Laverda Jarama triple. I sold off most of my motorbikes (I still have a MotoGuzzi LeMans 3) since I was getting too fat. Now I have too many bicycles instead. Last year I took one of them on the Colorado Trail. Epic!
