Banshee Season 2-WBF Official Thread

matthew mcconaughey

Great actor. Almost certainly will be nominated for Best Actor in Dallas Buyers Club which if you haven't seen is in my top 5 this year. Fabulous film and he was exceptional.

Just saw episode2 and although much better than the season opener, it still hasn't risen to the level of last year's series.

The chief's sister remains one bad lady but how about the deputy (Sioban Kelly) who is another stone fox as she dismantles her abusive ex husband

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think they're just getting warmed up! Man, the women in this show can kick some ass!!

I'm surprised that there have been no reviews of episode 3. This finally was an episode of Banshee that was reminiscent of Season one. It was non stop.

Lots of bad dudes this year such as Chayton Littlestone the gorilla of a man who leads an indian gang on the reservation. Kai is a killing machine with no conscience and his niece Rebecca, who is drop dead gorgeous, is trained by Kai to shoot guns (something I'm sure will be a reason seen). Kai's best line was, "Blessed art the peacemakers that they would be called sons of God." as he single handedly takes on a bunch of the Indians from the reservation. The murder of the Indian girl left us without the murderer being caught even though the Indians claim it was the Quaker boy Solomon (Rebecca's brother) who was the boyfriend of the girl killed. The Quaker boy however is missing. We get to see once again the sister of the chief as she stands over the body of the murdered girl lying in the morgue and is seen weeping. Is she the one who murdered her or was it Chayton's little brother. Amongst all of this drama Lukas is confronted and busted by the son of the real Lukas Hood who wants Lukas help him get fake ID so he can escape some assailants who are pursuing him. We again see Carrie in jail with Lukas thinking of her however the episode ends with Lukas finally getting it on with Deputy Siobhan and by all accounts she ain't so bad either.

How they pack so much drama and information in an hour is the reason we are left breathless waiting for next week's episode

Definitely thumbs' up

Just finished watching Season 1 DVDs from the library with Sony OLED 3D glasses. Looked beautiful on those.

Quite a ride. I liked it when Lucas and Carrie have "make up" sex about eight times, don't think I have ever laughed at a sex scene so much, just before the major bloodletting begins.

They place the teasers for Season 2, some of them in the "easter eggs" after the credits, but it is still hard to figure out how they are going to reconcile things in Season 2.

A Bee Movie series classic, nothing quite like a good Bee movie.

Somebody needs to count and see if it has more pointless, vicious, prolonged beatings per episode than "Lost."

Where did you find a 3D version? You also piqued my curiosity on the glasses (hadn't heard of those) so I googled them. Is it a 'big' image that you feel like you're viewing - or is it more like watching a 55" TV from across the room?

Started Season 1, first 3 episodes last night and boy, now I understand why this is a macho series. Coming from Dexter, Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad, this is not a bad thing to watch. Took me a full hour tumbling in my bed past midnight before I fell asleep. The adrenalin rush caused by the 'violence' got into me.

Phil

Just when you think it couldn't be any worse or any more graphic each episode is worse than the one before.

No 3D with Banshee, just mono vision through both eyepieces, small OLED screens. It will play 3D movies if they are projected that way.

Things my wife doesn't want to watch, I can watch with the OLED glasses, it's actually a very nice way to watch movies/dvd/bluray if you can get used to the visors.

Wow, Steve. The fight between the boxer Sanches and the 'sheriff was one bloody and bone crunching one. Ouch...My wife asked me last night, where do you learn of all these titles to watch? I said, whatsbestforum. :D

Guys

I know this is Super Bowl Sunday but who has seen Episode 4? It was Banshee at its very best.

Once again the chief's sister shows why she isn't someone you want to mess with. Ouch

Well the murder of the Indian girl comes to a rapid conclusion except for the ongoing duel between Kal and the Chief.

I must say that a fight between the chief's sister and Kal would be a blood bath because Kal too proves he is one mean dude who will stop at nothing to demonstrate his power.

Oh an BTW Chayton is a free man once again and he promises a repeat with Lukas

This series is once again in high gear.

I enjoyed the episode. Best one of the year so far.

Now Christian on a scale of 1-10 in terms of the violence we have seen in all episodes this one was an 8. There have actually been worse
