If I owned Lamm ML2 or ML.2.2 amplifiers what's a satisfying full range speaker under $50k and under $100k. (please, no subwoofers). Speaker should be available new with excellent manufacturer support. TIA

Doubt there are horns in your area to choose from with excellent manufacturer support. So you might have to stick to sensitive cones. If you ask Marc, it will be Zus. Those aside, you can try Stenheim Alumine 5. No idea if they work with Lamm but they are supposed to be 95 db easy to run. David used to match the Kharmas with Lamm before. Or you can try to bargain with Tang for his Cessaros

Personally my favorites at 100k would be Oswald Mill's Monarch (the ones that look like a butterfly)

I listened once. Superb sounding. I like them more than my YG Sonja. Here is a review of a smaller model.

Ked, how about $100k on Zus in a multi channel setup? Gets my vote!

With 18W, you'll be pushing it with most cone speakers. I'd go with Avantgardes, Duo Mezzo or Trios even.
Evolution Acoustics MM2 or MM3 are fairly easy to drive, at 6 ohms too. Or you could investigate the new Devore Reference speakers that was shown at RMAF.

Have you heard or heard of Classic Audio Loudspeakers? (sometimes known as Classic Audio Reproduction CAR) Field coil driver. 16Ohm
They are in the state next to me. I don't much about them. They always show with Atma-Sphere.

Very interesting, Tang - thanks for that. I see the Ayon chap is involved.
5 Ohm, 90,5 db efficiency

Yes. Gerhard of Ayon is the international distributor for the LumenWhite. He is a regular in Bangkok. 60 watts SET with strong current can run the speakers flawlessly. Not a mainstream speaker. It has a magic of Zellaton with more bass at less than half the price. I asked if I could get these speakers with black drivers once. He said it's Lumen "WHITE."

Kind regards,
Tang
