* Did you watch a film last night (on Blu or DVD), and what was it? *

I luv "The International"! ...And on Blu-ray the Picture is fantastic with great details.
Plus the Audio soundtrack ain't too shabby either with all those guns firing in the main lobby of the museum! Realistic gun's shots and machine guns too. And the music score is fine as well.

Cool flick, me too I highly recommend it! :)

Goldfinger on blu-ray. An oldie, but a goodie -- always a good time.

I love the opening sequence with the girl in his room. He goes to hug her, she says, "ouch" because the gun in his shoulder holster poked her.

He goes to take it off and she asks, "why do you carry that thing anyway?"

He replies, "oh, I have a slight inferiority complex."

I have the three volumes of James Bond movies on Blu-ray, including Goldfinger and Dr No, but I keep wondering when they're going to release Diamonds Are Forever and On His Majesty's Secret Service? Those were my favorite bond films of all time.. "I've smelled that after-shave before, and both times I've smelled a rat.." ?

Smill'a Sense of Snow

Watched it again last night.

Netflix streaming. Yeah, I know, but I'm all about the story. True Confessions with Duvall, DeNiro, Durning. Great stuff.

Although directed by Wyler, Sturges wrote the screenplay and this is seen by many as the latter's "first" film. An hysterical '30s romp, the byplay between Reginald Owen and Frank Morgan (soon to be the Wizard of Oz) is a joy. Kino's restoration is beautiful.

Tonight I watched The Kids are All Right. PQ is strong and satisfying, but lack of whiz-bang visual content will not make it a demo candidate.

This will not be for everyone, but personally, I loved it.

Last night I rewatched this flick on Blu-ray (I really like it too):

* The Music score, the acting, the storyline, (picture is quite dark though), makes it for a great 'inoubliable' experience.

Cairo Time on Blu-Ray. Watch this if you want to feel like you spent a few days in Cairo. Story moves at a snail's pace and goes nowhere.

I watched "I'm Not There" last night. It may be opaque, even boring to those who aren't Dylan fans and don't know his story. To those capable of following the narrative and getting the symbols and references, it is very unique story telling, rich symbolism and an ensemble of powerful acting.

I don't know what to say Mark; it's just a very shaky camera work and fast moving flick! :D
That was probably the main intention! :)

It's certainy not for all taste out there. ...That is why my title said "Only for the true daredevils!"

Watched RED again, this time with my wife and her parents. Everyone loved it.
