Holes drilled in the floor cables run in the basement over to the cabinet. "Sort of" wirelessAre they using the new Rhapsody invisi-cables? I thought those were still in R & D.

We're VERY happy with the way that they sound as they are. For anyone that wants a different design there are lots of great choices out there.nice speaker, very well made.
One Question
why didn't the horn driver open at the back so that it works as a complete dipole. sounds a lot better
Has that been done in a commercial productnice speaker, very well made.

I only learned about Diesis horn /open-baffle woofer design a couple years ago. Since then I’ve seen some other similar designs, and lots of horns speakers. I have never seen an open horn design as you describe though I will admit I have seen only a small percentage of all the various speaker designs. And, I have never heard anyone, besides yourself, mention this “horn open at the back” design. Can you share a speaker where this has been done? And you mention “sounds a lot better” compared to what? It seems to me it would require a totally different overall execution—please provide an example.nice speaker, very well made.
