PM sentI was searching for info about the WB Torus and found this fascinating thread. Anywhere to hear the Pure Low in the NY tri state area or South Florida?

Thank you.Unfortunately not yet. I have been busy and the Danville DSP has neen problematic.

Thanks for keeping us posted...most intrigued. Your work has been remarkable to read, and I can say it has certainly advanced my own thinking around our desire for the next step to be an expansion of the sub-40hz performance here.Unfortunately not yet. Pity, I'm also VERY interested in that outcome.Unfortunately not yet. I have been busy and the Danville DSP has neen problematic.

I am as well...hugely interested.Pity, I'm also VERY interested in that outcome.
Looking forward to reading all about it! Thanks for the update...a lot of hard work! Also a little update. After repeated struggles trying to get the Danville DSP Nexus to work I gave up on it. I don't mean getting it to work with the Pure Low. I mean getting it to actually work and do something. So, I reached out to Trinnov and have an Amethyst on the way. This should allow me all the control I need to integrate the Pure Low with the Tio. I will try an prioritize this work after the Munich show.
I'm surprised Al Clark didn't recommend that you work with Richard Hollis. With the DSPNexus software based digital filters and crossovers are built using Dream Weaver software. I didn't find this and the second tutorial very difficult. Also a little update. After repeated struggles trying to get the Danville DSP Nexus to work I gave up on it. Thank you for the comment. My issue with the Danville DSP nexus is not audioweaver or setting up the filters. That part is realatively straighforward. I am familiar with DSP's and have used various models over the years. Most recently I was using the Xilica XP4080 to integrate subwoofers. Like with the Xilica, I am not high passing the mains. All i am trying to do is implement a low pass filter for a pair of subs. (It uses something like 5% of the processing power of the DSP.)I'm surprised Al Clark didn't recommend that you work with Richard Hollis. But to go any further I would have to hire Richard Hollis. He helps you set up the DSPNexus unit as per the rest of the hardware in your system, Then he remote controls your pc (or mac) and guides you though making speaker (and/or subwoofer)/room measurements prior to and after he builds and saves the crossovers on your desktop. Then once it's all sounding good perhaps he then has you do some final tweaks.

Lots more to learn about it all here. https://danvillesignal.com/blog/
You might want to try raising your subs higher off the floor. I've found that 18"+ makes a substantial difference in clarity and Frequency integration adjustability (meaning more tailorability when rotating from front facing to side to rear facing).Hello @jbrrp1 ,
Regarding height. I believe that all subwoofers need much more height from the floor to sound their best. This has been the case with every subwoofer I have owned or setup. (And that is a sizable list) I currently have three pieces of MDF under each foot. One piece of 3/4", one piece of 1/2" and one pice of 1/4" so about 1.5" of added height in addition to the foot that comes on them. I have them raked back about 0.12 degrees.
