You really can’t expect a topic that starts based on an anti-capitalist position to not lead to the defense of capitalism by those of contrary view.

IMO the focus on capitalism is just a detour that moves away from the main basic points being discussed - correlation between price and performance, does stereo performance have an intrinsic limitation that has been reached since long and the consequences of a few people paying lots of money for a stereo preference.

Once again, you’re completely ignoring, or not understanding, the subject of the thread.

I disagree. A discussion of Thorstein Veblen's microeconomic concept of higher price --> increasing demand does not inevitably or necessarily involve political topics prohibited by WBF rules.
