Although I'm a huge VTL fan and have enjoyed this preamp immensely I've decided to move to a solid state front end. I plan to list on Audiogon in the coming days, but wanted to give people here first dibs.
VTL TP-6.5 Phono Stage with step-up transformer.
This unit is a tube / SS hybrid and is easily one of the best phono stages that I've ever used. It's setup with two inputs with the first being a standard high-gain MC input and the second configured with VTL's step-up transformer (also for MC).
Lots of useful features including a remote control for adjustment of gain and loading, mute, input select, etc.
With the step-up transformer this model retails for around $12,000. I'm asking $7500 obo.
I still need to take some photos and as soon as I have them I'll post them here.
