How much does your turntable weigh?
What would the footprint be in length and width for a platform/stand?
You are also welcome to identify the name of your table if you would like to.
Thanks,
Dre
As you can see from my original post, the question is more about covering bases with regards to support platforms for turntables and a few other things. With all due respect gentlemen and please consider this as "tongue and cheek", it's almost the analogue version of "how big is your organ, johnson, etc.?"
A little audiophile humor.
Sorry but I couldn't resist.
Would you care to contribute this useful information if you have a turntable?/QUOTE]
Oh please. IMO, you've obviously missed my attempt at a joke. Humor is a good thing but it appears that's not true for you.
I'm soooooooooooooooo sorry I intruded on your holy thread.
Have fun and back to the topic at hand.

My new Oracle Paris says it weighs 15lbs, but I don't believe it. The shipping carton says 30lbs. I hope to assemble it this weekend, so I'll confirm then.
Against my better judgment, I'll respond.
First: I have no idea if you own a turntable. So, I asked if you would contribute.
Second: I didn't miss your attempt at a joke. I acknowledged it.
Third: I love humor. Do you laugh at every comedian or wannabe humorist?
Forth: The thread isn't holy but I'd really like for it to stay informative and on topic.
Additionally, My question you tried to quote about contribution was serious. If you don't have a turntable, you could have just said so. I have no way of knowing if you do or don't.

My Kuzma reference weighs in at 90lbs - fairly substantial beast. Quite deceptive for the looks tbh.
My E.A.T. E-Flat weighs in at 48lbs without the cover, which adds another 5lbs. Thankfully it's not any heavier, because moving it around is a bit of a struggle as it is.
