I had used these three roller blocks under CEC TL0x for 5 years about 15 years ago and now I am using them under Jay's Audio CDT2 Mk2.

There are two different balls. If you can afford, the super ball is recommended for more effect.

With these roller blocks, transport give higher resolution and sharper focus.

I think it's effect is more than good digital cables.

But I recommend combination of roller blocks and good digital cable to get the best of your transport.

It’s quiet here because some of us already know that this is the worst case scenario, you have metal on metal and an unstable platform. You might like the effect but what you call tight focus for me is just hard sound and unnatural, you’ll get exactly same effect with any piece of metal of similar surface area under your transport. The spiked feet of TL-0 and their cups are far more natural, balanced and musical sounding than the hard sound created by ballbearings under components.

Thomask, Dave's criticism is too much of a generalisation. He'll be saying next that power cords on tt motors can't make a difference LOL.

FWIW, I have my Eera Tentation cdp on Rollerblocks on my Symposium Isis rack. That's a whole lot of metal on metal on metal contact. And my digital sound is as far from harsh as you can get.

So, thumbs up here for your solution.

TL0 vs TL0 is too much of a generalization? Hard and harsh aren’t the same thing pinball wizard!

Sure Dave, hard/harsh, tomarto/tomato. I always thought hard and harsh were interchangeable in audiofool terms, like terrible/unlistenable etc.

I certainly can't comment on CEC gear. But my cdp isolation of: metal cdp base plate>metal Symposium Rollerblocks>metal Symposium shelf gives me a naturally warm and expressive sound, no sign of hard/harsh.

Happy for you Tommy.

Actually this does not work on hard contact.

That is moving on ice.

It moves to other direction to absorb sudden impact.

Hearing is believing!

These Symposium Roller-Blocks are Outstanding and is what I use under all of my components to include my entire audio rack and I am using the Super Balls.

Each set added improves transparency, focus, depth with a very natural and organic sounding presentation. Tried other footers but they didn't sound natural to me.

It can work on other transport or CD player.

If you can get it with money back guarantee, then you may try one.

Thomas, other than my tt, I have Rollerblocks under 11 components. I'm sold on them. Beat Shun Mooks and Ultra 5's.

Peter of Symposium is one of the good guys, producing a stellar well engineered product resulting in excellent SQ at reasonable outlay, friendly, outgoing and helpful. A joy to deal with.

This stuff has been around for decades Thomas I have heard them in almost every version, giggly guise and derivative, like I said if one likes them in the context of their system fine otherwise the effect of all these footers is known. They're not for me.

Yes it had been around for 20 years.

I had been using it for more than 17 years.

All the tweaks are dependent on system and personal taste.

Thus I understand your position.
