If YouTube recordings sound good, why do commercial digital releases sound so bad.

Why? Because he likes the music? That is a pretty uncalled for comment, IMO. I happen to like it too...feel sorry for me as well if you like...I will keep on enjoying music of this type. I don't particularly like a lot of the music you post...I just don't comment at all then.
No, it's not about the music. It's about being moved or not moved depending on sound quality. When the search for "better sound" takes us to the point where we appreciate "less" music, there's a problem.
As for commenting on music, we are all free to provide our points of view, negative or positive - don't take things so personally.

You didn't think the sound quality of the recording was good? I thought it was quite good.

Love these phone recordings, seem more live. Note if you're listening on a mobile device, use battery, mobile data and headphone jack.

Hi, I like both, the first for the sound quality and the second for the music.
It just goes to show, we all hear differently as the CD playback you've posted so far I have found to be unlistenable.

This is unavoidable, nothing can be done...
There are also other variants, headphones for example, I use the Sony MDR-1000x.
Of all the ones I have here, they are the ones I appreciate the most.
As for the CD versus YouTube, I prefer YouTube, it's richer and doesn't scream.

Some digital releases sound similar to the analog original at first but after a few minutes of listening the sound becomes annoying:

Would be great for artists who do livestream performances to release their lossless files on Bandcamp. This one sounds pretty good don't ya think?
