Is Lampizator a serious company? Mafia practices.

I felt called upon to respond to this nasty, full of lies post.
I am an associate of Lukasz Fikus and the person who organized the delivery of this Dac.
The whole story started with your respond to our sale advertisement. The moment we offered you the opportunity to audition the dac after paying pro forma invoice, you stopped contacting us. After some time, I personally contacted you to offer you a test of an used unit in your system without paying any kind of deposit at all.
Last Friday, two days ago, I wrote you a message at 6 p.m. to give the courier 50 euros tip for his hussle. This "bulky guy" is a close friend of mine, he went 120 km off the route to bring you equipment worth almost 30k, he lost 2 hours, he carried a 50kg flycase up the stairs for you. I have informed you few times about the exact delivery time so you could eventually pick it up downstairs. But the 50kg flightcase was probably too heavy so the guy had to schlep it upstairs for you. Your baseless insinuations about your family's safety are simply pathetic.
You had 24 hours to respond to my message about 50 euro tip. You didn't reply, so I assumed you'd tip him what any normal person would do. And now you insult this guy because he's bulky? You call it mafia practise because a company brought you free testing equipment worth tousands of dollars. You clearly have no idea about mafia behaviour.
However, you forgot one thing, your communication with me is official business communication, so I can quote here your last message you wrote me which was " you stupid fu..k, don't contact me again" and you called Lukasz a "f..king loser" and I will be very happy to post some screenshots of our communication if there areany doubts about it.
During my entire career I have never met anyone as vulgar and demanding as you and I hope I never will.

Very classy indeed.

And as a matter of fact, I do have no idea about actual Mafia behavior. Maybe you would like to enlighten me?

The only corrections are the guy did not carry the case up a flight of stairs, as there is only one step from the front yard to the house entry. We do live in a single family home. And I have no idea whether the guy did a detour as that was never discussed.

It’s also correct, that I asked you to not contact me again and blocked you as well on my WA.

Same as Lukasz, thank you for confirming the events. That’s all I wanted, with that the purpose of this thread is completed.

So, in the late afternoon a bulky Polish guy shows up at my door with the DAC, but instead of just delivering it he demanded for me to pay for the delivery in cash. This had not been agreed. After I refused to pay, he drove away with the DAC.

Refusing to pay him 50 Euros for the delivery of a very expensive DAC?

And then slandering the company on a public forum?

What is wrong with you?

Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable.

And yet , you posted Mafia Practices as part of your thread title.

Regardless, you've gained nothing by posting this thread other than using WBF as a venue to vent, you did however accomplish putting yourself not in the best light.

you did however accomplish putting yourself not in the best light.

Hehe, a gentle understatement if there ever was one.

I don't know if this is pertinent or not. Back in November I wanted to Demo a Solution 727 Pre/Linestage. A price was agreed upon. With the caveat of me keeping the unit for 2 weeks and if I didn't like the unit I would forfeit $1000.00 USD and the dealer would take it back. I paid all the money up front. The dealer drove the unit to my home, several hour drive. He did get a great meal! Fortunately I knew in 5 minutes I was going to keep it.

The moral of the story is; If the manufacturer is willing to provide a demo, this is an extremely valuable aspect in the audio world. To have a in home ability to demo gear is beyond helpful and rarely provided.

My dealings with Lampizator have been nothing but positive...

What on earth are you thinking of @Kuoppis not paying a small delivery fee.
I remember a delivery of a pair of speakers, must have been nearly 9pm on a Saturday evening made by DHL. If it had not been for the kindly driver helping get them upstairs to a first floor flat we would never have managed. Of course a tip was given and a huge thank you, especially at that time on a Saturday.

A tip is always ok. And a tip is fine if voluntary, but not when demanded.

But the question was not about a tip, it was a delivery fee. When there is fee to be covered, it has to be agreed upon upfront. Changing the terms mid process is not acceptable.

Long story short, there are ways to do business and ways which result in no business. Whatever anyone’s preferences, this resulted in no business.

Very simple.
