Kuzma SAFIR 9

Is there a reason to? Everything I have heard from Kuzma has been extremely good.
Yes he seems to know his stuff, belt drives heavy platter and air bearing arm and platter seems to be his best efforts. ;) And he uses a industrial air bearing with heavy filtration and high pressure as one of the few, if not only TT manufacturer.

Marko, thanks a lot for the pictures and report.
Can you please tell us, which tools, Test LPs, maybe computer/software, etc. were used?
Will be maybe any public video available of the skills?
For the basic geometry, Wally Tractor was used, for stylus pressure, the Ortofon DS-3. For the azimuth, Fremer showed the Fozgometer with the Analogue Production test LP as his preference, but Franc used dr. Feickert Adjust+ and digital oscilloscope for cross-checking. For the SRA/VTA, the USB microscope was universally preferable and for the antiskating, the WallySkater. Even though Fremer thought he would need at least 3 hours for everything to dial-in perfectly, everything was easily set in a mere two. A showcase of how well CAR cartridges are fit for Kuzma tonearms.

Back to on-topic. In the factory tour video, Franc revealed a new upcoming product which is in a prototype form...;)

Second video shared by my friend from Kuzma event.
Off topic, but does anybody own the Kuzma HiFi Rack shown in this video ?

Kuzma don't advertise it and so wondering if it's a one off that Franc had specially and specifically built (maybe by an outside company) for his own system ?

According to their website, the rack shown in the video has been discontinued long time ago. This is the new one they have shown in this year’s Munich show, list price €32k

Hi 'thekong', thank you for your reply. Much appreciated.
Aah ok. Thought that might be the case
Yes, I have seen this photo and a short report of the new Kuzma 'Standis' hifi rack i.e.
https://www.monoandstereo.com/kuzma-standis-audio-rack/
Looks great, but the cost is very high (way beyond my budget! )
There are not too many hifi racks (even on the second hand market) that can take the weight of the Kuzma XL DC TT set-up (with two tonearm towers) plus the weights of the other hifi equipment below it for a TT set-up that are of reasonable cost i.e. sub £1k to £2k on the second hand market !
Most hifi racks that are on the market (new and second hand) that can take such weights with reasonable to excellent equipment isolation are £5k+ rising to well over £10+k for the very good ones.
I will most probably end up with a high mass heavy duty work bench that is designed and built to take well over 600kg in total static weight for the top shelf and 300kg for the lower shelves for circa £350 to £500 and then add independent DIY isolation platforms as required for each piece of hifi equipment.

Here is the video shared by my friend who attended the event.
Oh, that is Hakan's video :) He is a dear friend of mine as well

If you don’t mind having a high pressure compressor, I would recommend using this kind of optical tables under heavy turntables :)IMG_0312.jpeg

Thank you 'thekong' for your suggestion. Much appreciated. I will look into this idea.

p.s. Sorry WBF Members for going completely off topic on this Kuzma Safir 9 thread /\
