Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

I've ordered an RK60 and Brimar 5Z4GY. Anyone tried either of these tubes? Also is anyone using the U52 to good effect, and what have you compared it to?

No not yet, I will with Lampi and Allnic, as both use the same recti. Will take a few weeks though.

Excellent tube.
Especially in the GG2 and Pacific
In the GG1, I preferred the 242

I'm not sure what I would like more in a B7?
What digital engine (R2R?) does your B7 have, dminches?
If R2R, I would go with the 242 but after you already have the PX25, they are also excellent

With that engine whichever way you go -> PX25 or 242 is a stairway to heaven...

In this case, my educated guess would be: stick in the PX25 and be done
Especially after you already own the PX25

I just bought a brown base Marconi U50 for £50. So cheap why not?

But look at this for PX25. Is this price right i.e. $500 a pair? Free cryo too.

Seems to me as great price for PX25. I cryo treated mine in the fridge for 24h and they work like a charm...

I run mine water cooled like a Von Gaylord amp.

The Pacific should use sea water but Lucasz just hasn't cottoned on.
