As per the thread title, I've summarized the best bits (imho) to save you time...

36:49 Dohmann Helix 1 Mk2
53:12 AMG Viella Forte
59:53 AMG Viella Forte spinning vinyl (brief)
1:05:05 Wilson Benesch GMT One (long presentation - do not miss)
1:30:39 Metronome tt
1:31:17 Tech Das Zero (Tiger tank meets uber turntable design)
1:34:16 Thrax SUT (looks like a high quality SUT)
1:40:54 SAT XD1

I'm impressed with the new AMG & Dohmann tt's. The WB is not really a finished product & no price yet, so it's hard to comment on it. But very innovative proprietory technology. I'd love to review that table one day. The Tech Das Zero...amazing & virtually unobtanium. What can you say?

Geez. What is the price on the Wilson Benesch TT going to be?!??

Somewhere between Sat and AF0 if it wants to be taken seriously. Anything under 100k is a joke

Mmm I don't agree with that. My dream tt (incl: two reference tonearms & mc carts) would come in circa $76k & compete with tt's costing a lot more. What i'm saying is, there are high end bargains to be found <$100k if you look for them. And I reckon that new AMG table would be one of them.

I was being sarcastic. I like the brinkmann balance for example.

Lol, fair enough. AMG's Chief Designer is an ex-Brinkmann engineer, hence the family resemblance in the Viella V12. I've only heard a Brinkmann table once...can't remember if it was a Bardo or Balance? But I recall it performed well.

Big difference in the two. Bardo is direct drive, to start with, kind of like Sat XD1

Is one of these a 'sarc' emojii ?

No these are condescending emoji that assume the other guy does not get humor. So they are there to explain to him that this post is funny

The new VPI DD for 15K, including arm should be taken seriously I think...

Guys, no way should these price tags be indicative of anything except that such gear has a mkt at such prices.

Vyger tt has so much loaded in for a quarter of what SAT tt retails for, you'd have to have a damn fine reason to look beyond it as a final final tt move

It is indicative of EGO Marc. My EGO is about $150,000 big.

I thought MF had doubts about some of the design features of the Vyger Atlantis in terms of its long-term reliability when he reviewed that table for Analogue Corner? But it's a mean looking table for sure!

That review is from 2003, reposted in 2018. This was already covered in a forum discussion. Since then 15 years of work has been done on the table, of which I understand there was a big jump from gen 3 to gen 4 itself.

My bad, I saw the 2018 date and assumed it was a recent review. Thanks for the clarification Bonzo. Was Vyger at MHE? I didn't see any of their products mentioned in the show coverage.

I also made a fool of myself with that 2018 reposted.
