My Pachanko Server is here. A bargain at 16k Euros?!

ANOTHER IMPORTANT ASPECT

Here is something worth mentioning.

The addition of Constellation, Diretta and a better switch changed my speaker geometry   !!!!!!

When I added the Pachanko I had changed the position of my speakers (adding extra 10cm space between them and extra 10cm more room behind, maintaining the ratio.
What I did not expect is that I had to add further space with each other component too.
So switch and diretta, about 3cm more on each component.

So, here is a proposal that does not cost and may also work for you.
If you install your new gear, Pachanko or Diretta....fiddle around with your speakers a bit.
Pull them just a bit wider and just a bit away from front wall and sit just a bit further back from speakers.
You can get an even wider stage and better depth without affecting your center image resolution or intensity.
In fact....if you made such additions...now your speaker may be too close to each other for ideal listening.
And this is a good thing!!!!

Thanks for the info. I do remember reading that one needs to always check the position of their speakers when you change a component. I guess it is time for me to try this.

I heard we both received our Diretta targets today.
Bryans, I just hooked it up and listening to some live recordings....
Man, can you hear this?????????Have you tried it out yet?????????????
The P+D combo has left me speechless (again!!!)
:p:p:p
Yes received the Diretta yesterday and Chan help me get it updated to the latest Firmware.

I have to say HOLY S@*^ this thing is crazy. I have to say I didn't think it would make much of a difference but wow was I surprised. I'm about to queue up some of my "reference" recordings. Well they really aren't reference but just ones I love to listen to.

The best thing I can say is: "The P+D combo has left me speechless (again!!!)" DITTO!!!!!!

OK if you own or about to order a Pachanko CAT, or any unit that can use the Diretta protocol, order a Diretta Target! I have the "economical" Canario Bridge DUB (https://www.diretta.link/shop/) which is cheaper than most of the Ethernet cables a lot of people are using.

I guess the Diretta Protocol is suppose to remove noise from the transmission (https://www.diretta.link/). Well whatever it is doing it is doing it well.

All of the things I love about the Masterpiece has been taken up another notch. I'm way more involved with the music. The best thing I can say is I'm getting more of everything without it sounding harsh/analytical.

Hi. What is the Diretta host option?

Hello, New member here. I have Constellation Mini SE with HQ Player and Diretta option. I don't have Diretta Target yet. Hopefully soon. Cheers!
Welcome to WBF. Put your seatbelt on when you get the Diretta Target. I'm still in awe of what the Diretta Target adds to my setup.

This is my Pachanko Labs Constellation SE with HQPlayer and Diretta Host installed. Some SOtM swithes, SOtM 10M Clock and PSU's too. Right now, I'm powering the Mini SE with PLiXiR Elite BDC 12V 4A. The PL's Stella PSU 12V with 2 outputs should be shipping hopefully soon.

You have a very nice set-up!

Am I interpreting this photo correctly? You have seven (7) different boxes just to stream?

On 8 & 9th October there was the Dutch audio show in Veldhoven. Piet de Vries from www.audiotweaks.nl was demonstrating with also the Masterpiece from Pachanko. He is the Dutch importer of Pachanko. I helped Piet at the show. The listeners were deeply impressed about the Masterpiece. There appearance and sound! The combination of Pachanko and the SPEC DAC and BRIDGE sounds superb!
