I used a pair of these from the three I have in my phono stage. They were well matched and extremely quiet. What a great sounding tube (actually - a lack of a sonic signature on the music).

Any codes on these? I am extremely interested to know if RT produced in France E88CC or E188CC or just relabeled Philips Herleen production.

Have not seen these before. I do have Mullard CV2493 but have not tried them yet.
If the printed on a Mullard was cv2493 then it was made in the 70, these E88CC-01 are the proper Mullard CV2493 made in 1960
