Gryphon PowerZone 3

I have just finished an in home Demo of the PZ3. It is better sounding than my Shunyata Everest which was an improvement even with a dedicated line and a Torus 60 amp power supply. I will likely purchase late this year or early next.
Have you tried in series of both PZ3 and Everest? Both serves different purposes. Don’t think they are exclusive of each others.

First off I feel bad with your negative outlook on the Gryphon. From experience I can tell you the finest audio equipment being made right now imo is from Gryphon. As far as service issues I own a Gryphon Ethos some of the original Ethos had issues with the lids staying open on them. Contacted Gryphon and let them know the parts were shipped along with a new optical drive because my player couldn’t read a small handful of CD’s. Luckily for me I live 2 hours from the Gryphon repairman (Soren). I dropped it off Wednesday it was repaired Saturday picked it up on Sunday. No issues and met a new friend in the Gryphon family! A+ experience
My opinion is probably not overly rational, and it’s mostly based upon the fellow that was trying to get his unit from the US to Europe. And in the end they did say that they would redo the transformer, but the whole thing went on for over a year.

It sort of went a different route, and the whole “moving between power zones” is maybe pretty rare, but strikes a cord with me.

Powerzone 3 after 150H heating
The best thing about that video is you only have to listen for twenty seconds and you have seen and heard it all.

Will the first person ever who does not enjoy what the PowerZone does for a system please make a lot of noise here about it. I can wait. And wait. And wait.

Hi aangen,

Not trying to be cynical or sarcastic but what exactly am I suppose to be seeing and hearing in 20 seconds?

A repetitive song, and an image that repeats.

You may think that is funny or you meant to be extremely insulting. I will assume the latter. Utube videos are usually posted to demonstrate some sort of sonic revelation regarding a product performance. That was the purpose of my inquiry. I was trying to be respectful. Are the other utube videos on this thread also propagandized BS?

You seem to be no different than the many other folks (similar to a recently active manufacturer) who regurgitate hyperbolic posts about a product and question (or insult) those who may beg to differ with their perspective. Just another postcard carrying prototypical, pretentious, arrogant audiophile.

Are you still waiting for the noise? Is that like a challenge? What an utterly stupid, self serving comment to make. Oh well.

Youtube videos depicting sound simply do not work for me. But I am sure you heard the improvement like i did. Not a big improvement for me but for sure better.

I was trying to be funny. I assume we are best friends now?

Hi CMG, same question as above. What "effect" should I be judging?
You ask what I hear in my room? Here’s my answer.

After plugging in this marvel of electronics, my system underwent a transformation worthy of a superhero. The silence between notes? Deeper than a monk’s philosophical reflections. The bass? Like a thunderstorm rolling over the Alps. The midrange? Warm and organic, like an evening by the fireplace. The highs? Crystal clear, as if angels were polishing every detail.

The whole sound feels like someone wiped off the last layer of dust from the music – dynamic, transparent, and natural. This is no longer just listening; it’s an experience!

Of course, through YouTube, it might not sound as good as it does in person, but I did my best to capture the changes in my system for you.
I'll say this – once you hear it, there's no going back!

I will do a comparison of PZ3 vs. Shunyata Everest vs. without conditioner. It will be published around Wednesday. I'm waiting for the PZ3 to be warm-up for 200 hours, just like my Shunyata Everest. For conditioners I will use the same Gryphon Vanta cable. And without a conditioner, everything will be connected to standard cables and to a power strip for $50. I am curious about such a comparison myself.

To my dear bud aangen who just erased his post. The subject / reason for the response below. Embarrassed by your obsessive compulsive behavior?

Response. I don't care. Find someone else to fight. Ignore activated. Bye.

Comparison Shunyata Everest 8000 + Altaira vs. Gryphon PowerZone 3 + Vanta Cable vs. Without conditioner.

I must have old ears, but through my office/computer speakers I couldn't tell any difference between the 3.....
