A definite Yes! ladies & gentlemen for what it's worth. The Naim Statements are the top dog in amplification I have heard so far.

I haven't heard everything yet... but have heard too many to even name at some ultra fancy prices, and all I can say is that the Naim Statements grabbed me by the nuts!
This is one formidable force in amplification for those who haven't heard them, and I had the pleasure of auditing these with Audio Analysis ribbons. I didn't even realize what the hec they were until I came across this thread, and then actually inquired from the dealer in Melbourne exactly what are we talking in terms of costs. Quoted price range around 250 grand! Perhaps I better start scratching that lottery afterall...

I wonder how many of these gems Naim has ever sold?

If any of you get the chance to audition the Statements, it is truly a life learning experience.
Cheers, RJ

I heard the Statement with the Stellas back in November .

Loved the amp but for some reason did not like the Stellas.

I was speaking to Doug at the Toronto show and he says they are building 5 a month and that if anyone wanted to order one it would be March delivery .

I did listen them at Munich 2014 with the same focal model in picture. It was good of course but nothing fancy or worth the price tag. Focal and Naim had a special room in munich, they made a stage to put these monsters, genereally show conditions are not suitable for proper evaluation, but in naim&focal room i think it was better then many more rooms. Like I said it was good but i cant say it was special or unbeleivable. Of course different setups and conditions may change the result.

Can't comment on the Focal's, I've heard a few of them with various amplification but not with the Statements.

All I can say is with "AA Ribbons", the Statements were extra-ordinary! Forget the price tag, not even considering, that kind of money for amplification in today's "hard to get by world" is a crime!
Leaving aside the price tag, the sound with the AA's was simply stunning! As I mentioned, I've not heard anything since the last decade that matches it so far...

It also required a fairly long warm up time, around a few hours or so. The dealer chappy had already fired up the system in the early afternoon. My demo appointment was at 3:30pm, and he clearly mentioned that the system had been running since 12noon. So that's another factor to consider, as in public electronics shows the conditions are not that great, let alone intimate. Far too many people and far too much noise. It's really silly they set up a stage, it's as if a live band is about to perform. Everyone gets geared to hear a live band performance, hence when the system plays back recorded music..., uh! nothing really live and kicking here...

I think the stage was just a marketing gimmick! They really shouldn't have done that, rather they should focus on dealer's private rooms, which are far more superior to any public shows.
Anyway, what did they have to lose, just 200 grand!
Cheers, RJ

I would love to hear the Statement with a set of Kudos Titans .
