Amazing come from behind a 25 point deficit as the Clippers edged the Nuggets last night. LAC and LAL remain however in the playin standings and each a .500 team

That was an incredible comeback by the Clippers with Amir Coffey as leading scorer again.
Both teams were short handed due to covid protocols and injuries.
If you'd asked me a month ago about Coffey I would have said I'm not sure why he's on the roster, more likely should have been in the G League.
Maybe I 'm wrong about that but it is an indicator to me that the level of play in the NBA this year is suffering....to say the least.

The level of play is indeed affected however these G league players are playing their hearts out in these 10 day contracts. I must say that the depleted Memphis team yesterday destroyed the number one Warriors.
Point well taken. Gives those G League players an opportunity to shine and maybe earn an NBA slot.
That's a good thing.

I must admit that I was ignorant to what Covid protocols are as there have been over 220 G-league players signed to 10 day contracts.

Would Ben Simmons contribute more than Westbrook? Russ at least gets on the court and plays. Simmons would break down as soon as LeBron put his foot up his a--.
Simmons has announced that he has mental disabilities that prevent him from playing. How would that change if he gets moved to another team?
Not sure what Daryl Morey is thinking by demanding a star level player for Simmons - unless 76ers ownership just wants to continue the grudge match with Ben while the two sides torture each other.
Sixers would be better off to take some mid-level talent and move on. Find a dysfunctional smaller market team willing to take Ben and make the money match.
Maybe they can trick the Kings into taking Simmons for Buddy Hield - Sacto doesn't seem to want Hield.
Orlando might be another bad organization that could be duped.
Twolves come to mind but they have savvier ownership on the way in.
I always felt it was better to get personnel problems out of the way and move on. Might take some short term lumps but the long term payoff is worth it

My point was Westbrook has become an Untouchable ( or should I say an Undesirable) due to his poor performance and $45M/year contract. No one wants Westbrook. Dumbest mistake the Lakers did by trading all of their young players to free up cap space to acquire RW. As Dimfer stated, the guy has no problem getting to the basket but all he does is throw up bricks or air balls. His turnover rate is atrocious so who would want to take on the burden of that contract. To lose a player as good or better than RW in the like of Alex Caruso and to see what he has done for the Bulls this year has me shaking my head. I Ould care less about Ben Simmons. It's trading one headache for a bigger headache
Well it would have been fun to watch LeBron deal with Ben Simmons.

I find this the most interesting statistic of the day. I have said a few days ago that the Grizz are a formidable team and will match up well with whomever they play. I believe they can go 7 games against GSW, Suns or Jazz and make their presence felt
