New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Clippers lost to the Spurs last night.

Seems to be a pattern emerging.

They come home for one game tomorrow afternoon and then head out on an 8 game road trip.

Schedule not helping either.

I watched NFL playoff games today, no NBA.

Seems the NFL is doing better with covid protocols than the NBA. Fewer players out.

Niners fan here. What a ending for the Cowboys.

I always root against the Cowboys so I was happy with the result.

Late in the game it seemed that neither team was capable of doing the things it took to win....but 49ers eeked it out.

Game to watch tonight is the Bulls at Memphis. I hope this game brings out the best in both teams but my bet is on Memphis

Also Nets play the Cavs in Cleveland so Kyrie will be playing. I like the cabs this year and IIRC KD had a knee injury last game so will he play tonight

Clippers playing the Pacers now in an MLK Day Matinee. Up by 13 with 10 minutes left in the game.

Edit: Clippers will start an 8 game road trip due to the upcoming Grammy Awards show at Crypto.Com Center

Clippers hold on to beat the Pacers 139-133

Batum was the star of the game for the Clips, shooting 7 for 10 from 3 point land and scoring 32 points.

Amir Coffey had another good game with 16 points. Clippers drafted him 3 years ago out of Minnesota and he hadn't shown much at all until recently. All of a sudden he's looking like a real NBA player with 16 points today.

Hope he keeps it up.

Always nice to see young unheralded players do well in the NBA. The other night I saw bits of a guy name Bones (no pun intended) of the Nuggets lighting it up. Bones?

I said the same to my wife as I watched the game......"who would name their son bones" but the kid was on his game

Rams crushing the Cardinals 21-0 at the half in the NFL wild card game.

Time to watch the Lakers on NBA TV for a while.

Regarding Magic's recent disparaging remarks about the Lakers, I'm wondering how much weight he carries with Laker fans now. He did quit as team President and walked out on them in 2019. That must have hurt his standing with the Lakers and Laker fans.

Whooops...Laker game not on til later. Arizona doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time for some weird reason so it is an hour later here than it is in LA during the winter....strange as that seems.

Im rubbing my eyes this morning as I just gave up and went to sleep as the Jazz overcame the Lakers lead and were dominating

I cannot believe the final score as the Lakers came back in the final few minutes to win the game

Russell Westbrook's 'big time' jam on Rudy Gobert jump starts Lakers, himself
Russell Westbrook's incredible dunk on Rudy Gobert infused him and the Lakers with something they have sorely lacked.

A Miami win and another Bulls loss have the two tied at the top in the EC

Nets are 0.5 games out however they are 4-6 in their last 10 games and far from being able to challenge the surging Bucks and Giannis

In the west it is hard to believe that GSW is also 4-6 in their last 10 games and are 3 games behind the surging Suns

The 2nd half of the season will show the good teams rising to the top . For my $0.02 the bet team in basketball now are the Grizzlies who I believe will overtake the GSW in the standings

Interesting how GSW and Nets have fallen out of sync with the return of Klay and Kyrie to their teams
