New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Great win for the Celtics and suddenly with a 3 game losing streak, a reality check for the Bulls
Bulls are missing 3 or 4 starters now, depending on how you count.

Fun to see Ja Morant reach critical mass as a star this yr. I don't, however, see them overtaking GS or even Phoenix this yr.

It seems this year's results will be largely dependent on how good each team's G-league players are

Same old story....easier to fire the coach than the players.

Seems to me the guy who put the roster together should be more at risk...Rob Pelinka

Edit: Tough to judge teams, execs, players this season with all of the Covid issues and injuries

I totally agree. He bet the farm on 3 players who put them at the max salary cap and flood the team with over the hill players. No one wants Westbrook so they’re stuck. To me no one on the team is irreplaceable including the King himself. The Lakers can’t see what’s going on with the rest of the league as they are so old they are half blind. Pelinka gave them a team that doesn’t know how to play defense

Can Laker fans stomach a bottom up rebuild?

It doesn’t make sense to get rid of Lebron, yet.. he is consistently playing well, and probably help bring in a lot of revenue.. I am inclined to believe he still earn his $40+ m one way or another.

the team played well last night.

Well maybe he has an option in his contract to be player coach I feel bad for Vogel. Pelinka seems to always rise to the top
of the heap. They need to clean house. Blow it all up LeBron will make them money but will never get another ring as a Laker.

Two big games tomorrow

Cleveland at Chicago

Cleveland is for real and Bulls are in a slump. Bet Cavs in this one

Also Memphis visit the Bucks. This could be a preview of the NBA finals. Giannis is playing superb on both sides of the court against Ja Morant (who I think is the best PG in the league) and the gutsy Memphis Grizzlies.

They are back. Curry and Thompson DSW

All is not well in LaLa Land. What a joke. Pelinka delivers a team of senior citizens who don’t know how to play defense and Vogel has had a team decimated by injury and Covid. Rambis was not only a crappy player but one of the worst coaches in NBA history. However it is his wife who is best friends with Jeannie that made this possible

I feel for Vogel. I cannot imagine Fisdale as the interim coach

Blow up the team and rebuild. Get rid of Pelinka and bring in Rich Paul

I think Ja Morant is one of the most exciting players in the game today. He will be MVP within the next 5 years if he can keep this pace. The Grizzlies I believe can compete with ant team in the league and prevail. The question is how good are they in a 7 game series?

Expectations skyrocket in Grizzlies’ Ja Morant’s 3rd season

The athletic and explosive point guard has emerged as a legitimate candidate for the Kia MVP as has the Grizzlies looking like a threat.

Phil

Is this a good trade for the Celts?

What was the motivation for the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs to make the three-team trade reported Tuesday by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski?

The move includes four players, none of whom is a starter and two of whom are currently sidelined by injuries (Denver's Bol Bol and P.J. Dozier, both headed to the Celtics). Naturally, much of the rationale for this deal is financial. By taking back two players on minimum contracts, Boston moves a step closer to avoiding the luxury tax this season.

I hope this kid makes it with the Lakers He is playing solidly on his 10 day contracts

Former top-10 pick Stanley Johnson is seizing his opportunity with the Lakers

Interesting how GSW and Nets have fallen out of sync with the return of Klay and Kyrie to their teams
Give them a little time, they will be in sync again when it counts ;)

Now the Celtics have to find their Stanley Bird from the G League. They used to have a Kareem Bird on the roster but it didn't work out. :D
