New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

KD can do a Ben Simmons (who else, he's just a whisper away in team practices) and sit the whole year and wait for a buy out or whatever. It's not a nice view to see players sit while under contract. It's getting to be a trend of sorts.
KD would never do that!

We hope so. But this league has been turning upside down now it's hard to predict.
I hope KD is (still) better than that.

How about Lakers give up LeBron, AD and Westbrook for KD

How great would that be:cool:
Almost any situation would be OK-ish for me, as long as KD is NOT on the same team as LeBum :p

I still like AD as a player, unfortunately he is more time injured than he is able to play

And Russel and KD where a real dream team once upon a time in the West(ern Conference) ;)

La-la-land would sell a lot less shirts without LeBum so I think this will never happen
Not enough drama without LeBJ :p

I'm with Tatum on this one. I admit KD is one of the greatest but he's 38 yo and under contract for 4 years. I would definitely pull a Jerry Buss and keep KD. Kyrie is a different story as who knows how many games he will decide to play so I agree with Tatum on this one. I like the Celtics as is. To get KD will destroy the team

Jayson Tatum likes current Celtics team amid Kevin Durant trade talks

But then again, "never say never"

Boston Celtics among teams to engage in talks with Brooklyn Nets on possible Kevin Durant deal, sources say

Well, KD is a proven Finals 'money man'. That will be the only thing in the mind of Brad if he decides to give up the farm for KD.

As much as I like KD I hope Brad doesn’t give up the farm

KD has indicated he doesn't want to go to a team which have no stars left. So Brad will not sell his farm either. And the Nets want the farm and lot. Tough situation.

My gut feeling says that Steve might possibly right with his prognosticated "Buss-scenario".

Yes. I still wonder why KD wanted a trade in the first place.

I don't know, either.
My guesses are:
Away from Kyrie?
Somewhere where his chances are better than on his own and in addition being troubled by a proper nutcase and someone who refuses to work

Though I read some reports saying he's backing Kyrie to get a long term contract from the Nets, and since the Nets didn't give in, KD wants out despite having 4 years in his contract.

Pretty simple.....there won't be any championships in Brooklyn and with Kyrie's demand KD decided he too wanted to extricate himself. Honestly KD is a great player but he's as far over the pinnacle of his career as is LeBron. The Kobert trade must have sobered all of the league GM's

Plus KD and his age have rendered him much more injury prone. Im sure the Nets also want to eliminate his large 4 year contract but which team will truly give up the farm for a 38 yo injury prone has been. Sorry Christoph, we both like him but I abhor the tail wagging the dog in this league. Hell Lakers have the top tail wagger

It would be cool for me to root for the same team as you, Phil :D
@phil.......if LeBron becomes a Celtic I would like to say I will root for the same as you but LeBron would be all yours:rolleyes:
