New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Ahh, can you feel the love as Draymond allows the team to heal........

DRAYMOND GREEN STEPPING AWAY FROM WARRIORS AFTER ALTERCATION

The Warriors star publicly apologized on Saturday and announced he's taking a few days away to allow the team to 'heal' from the incident.

The power and skill of Rich Paul will be tested here. Will he get Green his max contract after all this show of love and healing? :D I almost forgot that Green is part of the the Rich Paul stable, hence the saber rattling and noise floating around that Green has no objection in joining LeBron.

Monte Poole: This isn't first Draymond-JP run-in

I like to read fans comments on videos and these caught my attention.

No one will be decking anyone. Personally if Draymond did it again I’d let him go on waivers
The words of ex-Celtic and now commentator Cedric Maxwell to Gary Payton during the Finals. 'Draymond is lucky he didn't play in the 80s. He would be punched'. He's referring to the tough and rough house techniques of Bill Laimbeer of the Pistons. After slamming Bird to the ground, the next game or so, Robert Parish, punched Laimbeer for no apparent reason during a rebound play, like a boxing speed bag. Draymond, you are still very lucky indeed.

Hahaha... yeah, such a selfless act by Dray. He's the glue that keeps the Warriors together.

I find it funny to read the internet comments by Warriors fans supporting Green and talking about how Poole must really deserve it. Having lived in Ohio from 2002-2009, I've been on the opposite side of plenty of Green antics (like how he "accidentally" almost blinds LeBron every playoff series by poking him in the eye) and don't know how they do anything but shake their heads and say, "Yeah, Green is an absolute punk, of course he's completely in the wrong."

Anyway, I saw you all posting about this wonderful display of team building by Green and felt compelled to drop in. Enjoy the season.

I didn't know that poking in the eye thing but I believe it, specially from this year's continued antics. And he caused his own suspension by hitting LeBron in the nuts, and of course caused KD to ultimately leave. He feels and acts as the leader, maybe by seniority,; but an analyst said , as a leader , you're supposed to show good example as role model to the younger players, not jaw them and punch them. If he is trying to chase Rodman's 'reputation' thinking it can land him into the Hall of Fame, then the league needs to create a Hall of Shame, he will get the votes unanimously. :D

FWIW on. lazy Sunday evening I watched the Lakers play the GSW at Chase center. Only main player for Lakers was AD as the other two pariahs sat out. It was a game played by AD , Reaves and the entire Lakers bench which was a bunch of young hopefuls many on 10 day contracts. Suffice it to say it was truly an exciting game to watch. The GSW payed half of their starters including Steph. Lakers had leads throughout the game only to be tied or overtaken by the Warriors. Then while behind in the 4th some young Laker named Matt Ryan began dropping 3's from everywhere and amazingly these young players were stellar and defeated the GSW .One win, a season does not make but watching the game, the Lakers have many young players destined for the D and G leagues. Some could easily find their way back to the Lakers roster

Jeannie must be softening as she ages. What terrible mistake. Im sure LeBron wants Rich Paul in that job.....

REPORTS: LAKERS EXTEND GM ROB PELINKA THROUGH 2025-26 SEASON

Originally hired as the team's GM in 2017, Pelinka was promoted to VP of Basketball Operations in 2020.

I'm pretty sure Lakers won't be any good again until the Buss family sells the team. You've got a lot of lightweights running the show. Pelinka, Rambis, Mrs Rambis. No draft picks. No one wants to play with LeBron at this point. Makes me really sad.

I remember well the days at the Forum where there were no luxury boxes but Jerry Buss had his own "open" box of seats behind the Lakers net. There was "no smoking" in the forum but Jerry always had a lit cigarette dangling from his mouth and at least one or two gorgeous young women at his side. Soon after came "show time"and the rest is history. man do I long for those days again. I can't wait for LeBron and Lakers to part ways

I was in high school with Jeanie when he bought the team. I was already huge fan and my dad was involved in raising the money that Buss didn’t have (which was most of it!). But what a great owner. The HBO dramatization is for sure way more accurate than the Laker sponsored documentary on HULU.

Well, he wouldn't be asked to front a Laker team by the actual people putting up the money... no way. Too polarizing. The Dodgers have shown the way with that. I'm not sure that he won't be successful though as part of an ownership group in Vegas, though.
