Do the Celtics lift themselves above the end of season heartbreak and pre-season strife? See it as possible.
Didn't see Utah dealing to Denver though.

Bragging rights for LaLa Land start tonight as the Clippers take on the Lakers.

Turns out to be a close game with the Clips doing well on clutch time. Kawhi and Wall of the bench provided sparks and runs offensively. Clips have a solid roster and some say the deepest. It will be nice to see them against the Warriors in the playoffs. That will be a good matchup.
I cannot believe that Westbrook is missing open outside shots and his penetration layups are like he just throws up a prayer without any sense of touch for a layup. 0 for 11 and 2 points. $47m is dripping in for him each game to the tune of $573,000 a game. For 0 points. Wow.

In his last 2 seasons prior to LA, he averaged 27 points for Houston and 22 points for the Wizards (and a triple double average at that). First year at LA he still managed to average 18 points. His FG% was still the same at 44% in WAS and LA. So I still wonder why he's still being blasted even before the start of this season.

Clips win again as George sinks 40 yet beat the Kings only 111-109. The Clips, Suns and Warriors seem to be the top contenders from the west. I still believe the Wolves and Kings could be Cinderella teams this year

Lakers lose to Blazers tonight because their only goal this year is to bring LeBron across the finish line to nudge Kareem out of his long standing all time scoring champ and I’m betting they will find a way for that to happen at home rather than away.
After watching a video featuring Kareem, where the interviewer mentioned that LeBron just signed an extension with the Lakers and is bound to break the scoring title in the Lakers uniform, it just dawned on me that there was absolutely no way LeBron could have played in another team. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Very conscious that Kareem was an all time Laker great, he designed it according to his own blueprint - a self proclaimed goat who broke the scoring title with the same team as Kareem. And most likely, he will use all his powers to have Kareem sit at court side to have his 'I want my Damm respect' media hoopla too.
Bronnie might even be asked by LeBron to attend the record breaking night, wearing a number 33 Lakers jersey. That would be LeBron's legacy statement.
