Wow, that was suddenSuns got a great deal. Didn't have to include big names to grab Durant.

Suns will have KD, CP3, Booker, and Ayton on the starting 5. The 5th guy may not matter muchAnd so KD with the Suns is killer. Kyrie and KD both in the WC. It‘ll be a an interesting finish in the WC
Ainge continues his draft pick hoarding spree. Now with 15 1st round picks thru 2029. That's what he does best. Boston owes him for Tatum and Brown today. And the saga of the Scowl, Russell Westbrook, continues to plummet....
Clippers, Bulls may pursue Westbrook
Former All-Star and Kia MVP Russell Westbrook was reportedly dealt from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Utah Jazz yesterday as part of a three-team blockbuster swap. Provided that deal goes through as currently structured, there are multiple reports Westbrook will be bought out by the Jazz. Per the NBA on TNT’s Chris Haynes, once that happens, both the Chicago Bulls and LA Clippers are interested in picking him up.
Phil...they gave up 4 first round draft choices, same as the Lakers when they got AD. Suns are postured for the present but not for the long term as the lakers have found. However their present is a lot rosier than the Lakers who continue to lose to every team. With the return of Russell perhaps as a better point guard he might bring something the Lakers need but that won't get them to the finish Line. Suns have a much better chance. I really thought the Suns would trade Chris PaulSuns will have KD, CP3, Booker, and Ayton on the starting 5. The 5th guy may not matter much
Am still amazed the Suns didn't give up a 'star' near the caliber of KD but they did give up 4 first round picks. That's probably what the Nets want, as the best 'deal'.
They have the horses now to win in the West. Can’t argue the price with that in mind IMOSuns got a great deal. Didn't have to include big names to grab Durant.
Dwefinitely. They have had 3 years of nothingnessSteve, saw a comment by Pelinka that LA fans only accept championships, so rebuilds aren’t possible. Do you think LA could handle a three year rebuild if they saw progress and direction?
And the Lakers are cleaning house. Pat Bev is gone and also much to my disappointment the Lakers traded Thomas Bryant who I thought had great potential as a center
All these moves so that they can try to make it into the play in rounds. Beyond that they aint going anywhere
really.....Lakers have gotten some much deserved bashing here but you have to give credit where credit is due. Suddenly the Lakers have the best front office in town which is a shocking development.
LeBron is a journeyman who will go anywhere to improve his legacy. I hope you prove to be correct but tonight's game will be a test of your comments. IMO there isn't a team in the league who can't beat the Lakers. They don't have the stamina of youth as typically is evident in the 4th period of every game And as far as playing defense, that isn't a word in their vocabulary. All IMO of courseI think your Lebron hatred is getting in the way of reality. Understandable. I would have rather he not become a laker too but this is a good roster. That said, they are ankle sprain away from you being right.
If that 5th is a TJ Warren that is fully back in form from his ACL injury, the 2020 TJ Warren.....Oh Lord.Suns will have KD, CP3, Booker, and Ayton on the starting 5. The 5th guy may not matter much

At this point, if I am the armchair coach of the Suns, I will 'rest' KD, and even Booker till they reach the playoffs. Then with a healthy first 5, Suns should coast along to the WCF. I like Denver but somehow my faith in this team is not very strong from their past playoff encounters. Jokic, despite his 2 MVPs hasn't really destroyed opponents during the playoffs, or not that I can recall. Suns may had a 'fluke' loss to Dallas last season but they were in the Finals with the Bucks a few years ago and the leadership of CP3 showed up.If that 5th is a TJ Warren that is fully back in form from his ACL injury, the 2020 TJ Warren.....Oh Lord.
