you know for 4 years I’ve been calling for Ballmer to fire Lue. Yes he won a championship but it was LeBron who was coaching. I remember after they won the championship the camera showed him on the bench absolutely speechless.

Me too Phil but the first time they didn't have MPJr the second lost Jamaal, now they have both plus a repurposed Gordon. Solid rebounders in the second unit too. Given their locale they SHOULD have the stamina LOL

Looks like he didn't have the Bball IQ required for their system. Their centers have almost always been high post passing big men like Bogut and the dirty guy who put his foot under The Klaw. Either they couldn't wait for him to develop or maybe they figured it was too late to teach him.

One commentator described Kuminga as Iguadala 2.0 and I can see the resemblance. Whatever is happening to the Wiggins family, I hope everything works out.

The guy they should have traded Wiseman for is Alperen Sengun of the Rockets. That guy looks perfect for their style and he has height if not total length. Kind of t-rexy. He looks like a young Domantas to me.

The Dubs and Suns are making their move and FWIW Lakers are one game out of 10 and final play in .....but does anyone care :eek:
 
At the onset of the season I had high hopes for the Grizz and Ja Morant. They were plating at their peak performance until recently when they seem to have lost a few steps to their game. For me however the biggest disappointment has been the Clippers who , for me at least, have been underwhelming. With contracts soon up on Kawhi and George, Ballmer has to make a move and to me it starts with a new coach. Hire the Celtics coach from last year who was outed for having a relationship with an employee. I thought he was a great coach. Only problem is Mazzulla is a better coach. I see Mazzulla or Brown from the Kings win COTY

WOW....Ja Morant suspended for at least 2 games while the league investigates his brandishing a gun in an InstaGram post. Apparently he has had other altercations where he and his security involved with mall security and a 17 yo boy who said Morant confronted him with a gun in his waist. Morant has apparently never taken ownership of any of these actions until this and he requested time away from the team for him to confront the stress hefaces and how his outlet is inappropriate

This is a tough game in a tough league and he's a super star. Not condoning his actions but I'm happy he's now confronting his demons and wish him well as he is in my top 5 favorites in the league

Am very surprised at this kind of news. Reminds me long ago of Gilbert Arenas.
 
What a game at Milwaukee where the Bucks riding a 16 game win streak lead until the final 30 seconds when the Sixers made a last gasp effort and put an end to the win streak

The Sixers were behind 18 points in the game. They didn't take the lead until the final miny=ute. Fabulous game
 
I sure hope things are well with ja Morant. He is one of my favorite players in the league....this will almost certainly destroy whatever chemistry the Grizz has as they head into the final weeks of the season
