New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

as always the Lakers give up the ghost in the second operand let the Warriors claw back into the game. AD has 22 but the rest of the team sucks

End of half
Lakers 55-54 as they see a 20 point lead vaporize

I have to admit that watching the Lakers play any game is like riding a non stop roller coaster as they cannot ever hold a lead to finish out a game. This was no exception as the GSW catch them at 91-91. Lakers lead by as many as 9 but in the waning moments AD rises to the occasion and ices the game with a pair of free throws. Curry remains a killer on the three but he showed some signs of inactivity today with controlling the ball however he was always there to make the clutch 3. However Warriors cannot win on the road. This will be a huge factor in the playoffs. The Warriors as good as they are just seem to be lacking a step in their game. I think their dynasty is seeing the end of the tunnel. The Lakers OTOH are always lacking a step even though they are winning games without LeBron. Steve Kerr has some decisions to make in the coming year as I see it. Warriors are 7-23 on the road o_O and that won't get them far

Final Lakers 113-105

But here's the stat of the day and looking forward, Suns are deadly as KD and Booker combine for 73 points in the win over the Mavs
Suns are very very lucky to land KD and not giving up Booker. Nice job by the GM. The rumored Celtics trade would have Jalen Brown included or no deal.

Like the Nets game, C's went up early but now the Knicks are into 2 OTs. Tatum and Brown are beat. Need some fresh shooters.

Ouch 131-129 Knicks win in 2 OT

This is not the time for the Celts to have a cold spell

No Robert Williams, no Rebounds. He's out a few weeks.
What a tough break that is Phil. Injuries always seem to be the X-Factor in determining outcomes. I hope he gets better in time.

I sure hope things work out for Ja Morant....how fleeting the status of celebrity can disappear

No timetable for Ja Morant’s return during ‘healing process’
Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins reveals that there isn't a timetable for Morant's return.

Randle is now a consistent force to recon with, he has developed an outside shot , and can drive strong to the hoop. They've got good players.
Another farm team Laker who they traded to make a better deal. I loved Randle when he was a Laker. Good to see him succeed as well as the Knicks. I remember growing up it was the "Knickerbockers" and a team of historically great players and trophies and Madison Square Garden. It's been a long time. I bet Spike Lee after all of these years is finding happiness rather than despair like we Lakers fans.I can think of a dozen great Lakers draftees who they dumped.. I was happy to see D'Angelo back at the trade deadline. I always liked him. Lakers however always play to win it all "this year" and will part with their young talent, not yet super stars, to make what they think will help win the trophy "this" year.

Stephen A is a big Knicks fan too. I recall Max was roasting him on free agent signing day and he gave Stephen A a jersey of Randle, and Stephan A prompted threw it behind his back. Now he has to find that jersey. :D
