Can Nurse do better than the Doc? Sixers failure to succeed is baffling. They have a handful of number 1 picks overall, and a number 3 in the last few years. And while I was browsing through some stats, I found out, to my surprise, that Butler was in the team with Embiid and Simmons in that loss to the Raptors of Nick Nurse. It was a big 3 of sorts. But they lost on the lucky bounce of Kawhi's last shot. I am now wondering if it is a coaching problem or an Embiid problem.

My reply is a coaching problem for sure....I just think Doc is old school and considers himself top shelf. His last good years were at Boston

I like him as a coach. Well deserved imo. I wish him lots of success.

There are reports that said players felt it was an overreaction, in suspending Udoka for a season. Boston had a rookie coach that brought them to the finals and 2 games away from a title last year. And this year got yet another rookie coach who brought them 1 win away from the finals. Against a coach who was there with Miami for almost 20 years. And most fans are crying disaster. Tough times. Everyone wants to win now.

Tough decision for Brad. Mazulla clearly did very well in the regular season and was even a finalist for coach of the year. But playoffs is where they separate the men from the boys. Maybe Brad has to step back as head coach and have Mazulla as assistant, since the Celtics have no assistants left anyway.

Wouldn't that be the cats meow for Brad to coach again. Nice thought but I doubt it will happen

If I were to make a defense for not firing Mazulla, it would be his 3 straight wins in a conference finals, and 2 were in Miami. Maybe what he really needs is to tailor the seedings in the regular season so they don't have home court advantage, which Miami might have actually done.

Game 1 of the finals will be my first LIVE GAME to watch after missing 7 games of the eastern playoffs. It should be more relaxing. Maybe Jack will be the one not to watch it live because pizza is at stake.

Well I’m watching the game in Washington DC. It’s over. Jamal Murray is an amazing. If he had played the past 2seasons Denver could be looking at a 3 peat

Firepower. Denver unleashes them like no other teams this year. Consistency. What you expected from them, they deliver. The first 5 is very very formidable and it will take some defense to stop it. They have a variety of offensive sets, medium, inside, long range, and great unselfish passing.

And Aaron Gordon. What a bruiser. And Michael Porter sometimes reminds me of Tatum, shooting 3s a bit too quickly, but he's Ok. Love his plays.
