So Knicks will do what the Lakers have done to win a ring....they give up future assets to win now. Good luck as I look forward to seeing a healthy Knicks team this year and what they can accomplish. Every EC team needs to get better to dethrone the Celtics who remain favorites to win the EC and to repeat
and history will be made when the James family step onto the court wearing the purple and gold. And then reality check will set in as it will show one is too old the other just not so good
I know he doesn't look like a top tier player but his impact on a team that is close is almost unbelievable - Knicks went 20-3 with him before injury, and I think 26-6 overall with him on floor, even recovering from elbow surgery. Not only is he among top 5 defensively in the league, his impact on offensive spacing made Knicks dominant. Along with Bridges trade, I'm all in for next year, they have the horses to take on Celts. Only thing left to do is sign Hartenstein or make one final trade for center. The 2025 Finals should be Knicks/T'Wolves.
Knicks are certainly shoring up to make a statement against the Celtics chance to repeat. I definitely liked what I saw of them in the playoffs. Even as a depleted team they looked terrific. It has been a very long time since the Knicks took home the trophy and their court side regulars are always fun to watch ....even Spike Lee
Lakers on the other hand are shoring up as well when they draft Bronny James as the 58th pick overall. Lakers have no realistic first round choices after they gave up everything to get AD. Clippers are in a similar boat when they gave everything to OKC for PG
Bob Meyers said it best on ESPN now. Nobody navigates his NBA career better than Lebron. Packaging something from nothing. Makes Lavar Ball shines in whatever he has done so far. LeBron now has in parallel league. Next he'll ask Adam for a quick 3 days IN season tournament so he and his son can bag the title and make more history. LOL
What a gutsy move that is.Orlando is an upcoming team and that will heighten their chances. The EC is alive with talent now.
I feel bad for owners of OKC. Such great talent that starts there and gets the team recognition only to bale. It is in there middle of nowhere. They should move the team to a better location, even maybe back to Seattle
