New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Another reality check for the Lakers tonight as they are on the road and at Cleveland they got clobbered by the powerful Cavs as they are now 3-2

Final. 134-110

I quite like that some of the lower ranked teams are playing competitive ball.
Nets, Hornets. Wizards and Portland winning today. Bulls and Pistons.

Was 6-5 in my predictions today.

well I called it at the beginning of the season. I thought drafting Bronny was the whim gf his father and a simple twist of Margie's leg and nepotism at its finest.Frankly he is not NBA material and I said from ther begiinning he would play a few games to enhance his father's legacy and then sent down. Today Bronny was sent down to the G league Unlikely IMO he'll reappear this season. Whatever a waste of a draft choice

Maybe worth it for the attention garnered?
Not that the Lakers suffer from lack of attention
Lakers started 3-0and went 1-4 in their last 5 games

I became an AD fan watching him play for Team USA. I really hope it lasts.

The eye opener for me at the start of this season is Kyrie. He looks like he is keyed on defense like I've never seen before. On offense, he is still Kyrie.

The Warriors experiment is really fun to watch. It's like watching an NBA version of the little guys on the Philippines team battling with the Forests from Northern and Central Asia. Deep as they are I cannot fathom how this could work over 82 games. The clobbering from Cleveland shows how badly things can go but then again Cleveland has been clobbering everybody so far. Never thought I'd say that! LOL

I'm loving it all so far because the league somehow has almost like a fresh new look. The 5th, 6th, 7th year guys showing what prime looks like. It makes the idea of drafting more Juniors and Seniors instead of gambling on up side of one and dones very appealing. Everybody might have much stronger benches.

Go Pacers! :D

Cleveland has been a bigger surprise than expected. The big surprise for me has been the Sixers who are totally lacking as even the Lakers beat them last night

Pacers and Knicks have yet to show me what I was hoping for.....better versions of last year as they are both certainly fun to watch

I agree about the warriors but so far as you say they have been fun to watch as well

ReAD, I hope youre right because other than him, LeBron and Reeves they are still a developing team and AD suffers from recurrent groin injuries and it is a long season
'

Looks like the league has done away with the commish's In Season Tournament or am I missing info on that

I do like your Pacers Jack

Im also wondering what Victor will do with the Spurs this year

Joker killing it since the start of the season..others in the team need to wake up a bit and then lets see

He’s so great to watch. He has so much talent

Really enjoying some of the surprising wins.
Portland, Detroit, Charlotte, Brooklyn.
Atlanta beating Boston.

Sengun is a steal at 16 in the 2021 draft.
Pacers could trade for my favourite, Steven Adams.
They are down two centres.

The spider (Wembanyama) is starting to hit his stride as he drops 50 last night to power the Suns to the win.

He will be the next face of the NBA IMO

Pop is a patient coach

I have r=tio admit that the only good thing going for the Lakers is the oldest man in the League. Lakers held a 15 point lead only to have the Grizz overpower them and storm ahead however LeBron sinks his 3rd straight triple double and leads the Lakers to a 128-123 win as they go 7-4 on the season

EC is dominated by the Cavs who are 13-0 and Celtics are 3 games behind. Amazing as only 3 teams in the EC are above .500 whereas there are 9 in the WC above .500

Going to be an interesting season

Y'all know Im. not a Lebron fan but damn the old man does it again tonight with his 4th consecutive triple double

And yes the Play In Tournament is on again as the Lakers just can't hold a lead in San Antonio. They have been back and forth all night

Late in the 3rd Lakers lead by a paltry 84-81

so weird to see CP3 as a journeyman bench sitter with the Spurs

and its CP3 who cost the Spurs the game with an illegal pick on AD with the game tied and 30 seconds left Lebron puts the Lakers up to stay in a back and forth game. I believe the Spurs are for real this year

Final Lakers 120-115 to go 8-4 on the season
