I checked the standings and was surprised that despite the many losses of the Clippers, their record is pretty decent at 23-13, which would be tops in some Eastern divisions. Strange that they have found some light while Blake is out. Trade could be a good idea.

Ive been reading locally here that Luke Walton will be the likely replacement for Byron Scott at the end of the season. Presently Luke is 35-2 with the GSW. Not bad for an interim coach

I don't think much of Scott as a coach so I think it would be a good move. If it happens, we'll see how LW deals w/far less talent.

Surprisingly, the East has only 2 teams that are lottery bound barring some sudden resurgence, the Nets and the Sixers. The Celtics meanwhile, keep losing and might actually fight for a lottery spot soon. So far no big name trades as we approach the deadline in Mid-Feb. Knicks' Porzingis put up a highlight performance last night against the C's. He's going to be up there very soon.

Didn't watch the game but saw in the box score that Love only played 21 minutes.

Clippers were comfortably ahead and let the Rockets back in the game. Had to go to OT for the win.

Cavaliers on Thursday for the Clips. Looks like no BG32 for that game. Cavs will be ready after getting thumped by the Warriors.

Cavaliers fired David Blatt today. I guess beating the heck out of the Clippers wasn't good enough.

Cavs hired Blatt before they knew LeBron was coming back. It was never a very comfortable fit.

Blatt seemed like a good guy to me and was very successful in international basketball previously. They love him in Israel so maybe he'll go back there to coach.

Has to be tough to coach The King. Seemed like Spoelestra and Lebron has some uneasy moments as well.

Tyronn Lu is taking over as Cavs coach. Tough first assignment but hope he does well. He was a Doc Rivers protoge.
