New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

I watched the Harden replay several times. Not a Harden fan and definitely not a Rockets fan.

Did he push off? Guess he did. Are there 20 push offs like that in every NBA game? if you ask me there are. Are they called fouls? Very rarely.

I think LeBron does that on every other play!

And 'travel' too. :D

Terrific game in Boston and good to see a young upcoming team as the Celts defeat Atlanta 111-103

Isaiah had a career game with 42 points

They're back in it Phil

Yes Steve. Great effort put up the players. Hope they get to tie the series.

And the C's play without a true center, and they have a lot of guards in the rotation, 4 or 5. Too bad Avery Bradley is out with a hamstring injury in this series, and hope Olynyk can play in the next game, nursing a sprained shoulder.

Looks like the top teams are coasting along in round 1. No major upsets in sight.

Trailblazers beat the Clippers tonight in Portland. Series now 2 - 1.

Portland played well and deserved the victory. Clippers couldn't hit their shots, especially JJ Redick.

Great games by Lillard and McCullum, Portland's dynamic duo in the backcourt.

Edit: forgot to mention that Blake Griffin wasn't worth a darn in the game either.

Woke up to see the 4th Q of the Warriors Rockets game only to find out Curry strained his knee during a slip over a wet spot. Tough to see the MVP have another injury and hope he comes back.

The problem was everyone was slipping on the very same part of the floor

I just saw the ESPN report that Byron Scott was fired. The Lakers had a rough season but Scott didn't have a lot to work with.

Curious to see who they hire. Derek Fisher? :)

Sorry, bad joke. Hope Mitch has a plan.

Mitch's job is not so secure according to the same reports

Oh, boy. Mitch is a class act. Hate to see that happen to him but he has had a very long run.

I thought Phil Jackson was obligated to work at least one more year for the Knicks but wonder if Jeanie is making room for him.

Wow, strange days continue for Laker fans.

In Game 4 of Cleveland's sweep over Detroit, there was 1 instance wherein LeBron was yelling his throat out at a ref who was like 1 foot away, and the ref didn't even slap him with a T. Gee, what's this double standard again? First they let him travel 8 steps all the way to a basket, then they allow him to push off without a foul, all because of his stature? I was never in favor of those so called 'Jordan Calls' and this is a repeat of those things that spoil the game, this being a pro league where they review every blotched calls and fine anyone tens of thousands of dollars for a few words against the refs. And by the way, James was right in his claim that the ball hit a Pistons and went out of bounds. But the rule says review is only for the last 2 minutes, and the rule is that when you scream at the refs in his face, you get a T, just like any other NBA player. I need to write Adam Silver. :D

Chris Paul broke his hand tonight.

I think its time to stick a fork in the Clippers this year - they are done.

Paul out, Curry out. That looks like an interesting series.

From bad to worse......

Griffin out for rest of playoffs, Paul has hand surgery

Really tough to see CP3 and Blake go down with injuries suddenly. The C's lost Avery Bradley in the first game of the playoffs too but is hanging in at 2-2 with a pivotal game tonight on the road. Hard to imagine the Clippers advancing without 2 starters but I recall there was a time they had a winning streak when one of their starters was down so let's see. As for Curry, yet another unfortunate injury. The fans will missing these players.

Yes, the Clippers are finished for this year no doubt.

Wondering what Steve Ballmer will do.

Training staff is suspect as Blake's treatment for the quad injury was not handled correctly. Big Baby Davis said his treatment last year was a disaster - team staff missed a broken foot!!?? Jasen Powell, Head Trainer, has a big problem.

Definitely a possibility big changes among coaches and players for next year.

Chris Paul has my sympathy....he deserves better.
