Chris Paul and Blake Griffin for Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. LeBron would love to play with CP3 and he doesn't appear to love Love.

Tough loss, Jack. I saw the 3rd and 4th and I never expected the Raptors to turn it around as PG was carrying the Pacers for the most part.

Training staff is suspect as Blake's treatment for the quad injury was not handled correctly. Big Baby Davis said his treatment last year was a disaster - team staff missed a broken foot!!?? Jasen Powell, Head Trainer, has a big problem.

I read that yesterday about Big Baby Davis, as I was wondering what happened to him. Missed a broken foot, and Davis was a Free Agent, and nobody wanted to sign him with a newly discovered broken foot. Sigh.

You can't help but smile watching the Warriors play. Steph goes down for 2 weeks and sits the bench and Livingston comes in as PG and plays an epic game in his absence. If they close out the Rockets as it seems and with the Clipps series going longer, now that Blake and Paul are injured the possibility that Steph might return by the series opener or game 2 at the most

Colin Cowherd predicts Chris Paul will go to the Lakers when he becomes a free agent. CP3 can opt out after the 2017 season. Same time frame for Blake Griffin.

Interesting off season for the Clippers. Could be big player changes. Could be changes in the front office. Could be changes in the coaches. Hard to tell what Steve Ballmer will do since we have so little history with him as team owner.

Lakers will be fun to watch, too. New coach, family management intrigue, Phil Jackson dynamic, free agency - Lakers still have plenty of money and they need to make some moves.

....can you tell I am already looking at next season and trying to forget Clipper disasters this year?

Great choice by the Lakers. Always like Luke and wish him well as head coach of the Lakers. He has a great record so far as head coach, 39 - 4.

I didn't think they would announce anything until after the playoffs. Guess I was wrong.

He was always Phil's 1st chair beside him as well so if Phil comes back it might bode well

Alvin Gentry was announced as the new Pelican's coach as the Warriors were in the playoffs last year. So I guess the league has no prohibition on yanking assistant coaches out of their teams while the season is still on.

Bill Walton, if he could, would rather sit on the bench of the Celtics than the Lakers.

Clips put up a great fight till the end. Almost tied it at the end but what an effort despite losing 2 starters. The one who disappoint is Paul Pierce, who was terrific with the Wizards last season, but now seems like he should retire.

Wish that Paul Pierce had a better season with the Clips. Looks like the end of the road for him. He had an incredible run.

Clippers have some big decisions to make. Will be very interesting to watch.

Bill Walton also played for the Clippers and was a Clippers broadcaster, too. But you are right, his heart is in Boston....and he hated Donald Sterling so much he gave up a year's pay to go to the Celtics.

I always enjoyed Bill Walton's unique point of view and his irreverance. Guy should have a talk show or do a podcast as least.

With Luke Walton and D'Angelo Russell both with the Lakers I may have to change my allegiance to........no, I could not do that.
