New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

And the Warriors need to protect home court. Cleveland will be making adjustments for game 2.

Missed the game and just now saw highlights.

Cavs shut down Steph and Klay and still lose? Amazing.

Shaun Livingston goes 8 for 10 from the field and is the Warriors leading scorer.

While I wasn't able to watch the game tonight, this time it was worth it. Had dinner with an interesting group of people, one of whom escaped the Nazis in Brussels during WW2 and was hidden in a Catholic orphanage at age 6. He was reunited with his parents in Philadelphia after the war. His story was riveting.

Hi

Series far from over but this is a very strange turn of event and the Cavs had resons to be dumfounded: Here they had the Splash Brothers shooting like mere mortals, actually like bad players, making mistakes e.g Steph Curry turnovers , Steph Curry and CLay Thompson missing lay-ups, Steph Curry and CLay Thompson shooting bricks... only to witness the GSW bench that has been MIA during most of the playoffs, suddenly wakes up: Livingston goes on a rampage, Iguadola summons his last Finals MVP form and even Bogut and Barnes playing and defending well .. They'll adjust but if the Splash guys wake up and the Bench continue to play that well, series could be short.
On that Kyrie Irving needs to be given more control by LBJ. In any other team this kid would be a mega star. They need a coach that has the gravitas to curtail LBJ ego and allow that team to flourish, someone of the stature of Pops or Phil Jackson. If they get that this Cavs team, as composed would be scary. T. Lue is doing a decent to good job but Lebron needs to give the coach more space to operate and actually coach the team. He's been a team player in his past but now, needs to leave the coaching to the coach and his staff... Not that he was doing that yesterday but you can tell there is a lack of chemistry between Kyrie, Love and LBJ .. a lack of ... love? :D

Yep, you gotta be concerned when you lose by 15 and Curry/Thompson played as bad as they did. Thought Lue was entirely out-coached. And Love/Lebron/Irving make playing together look difficult when it's really not that hard to do.

Never would have guessed that Cavs outshot Warriors on 3s during playoffs. All I saw were impossible swishes.

If I was on OKC I think would have been incredibly exasperated watching this game w/all the misses. Not sure the Cavs caused them.

IMO the Cav's problem is that while GSW has literally gone through the mill this post season, the Cavs were never really tested. That in my mind widens the gulf between the coaching experience of both teams. Count not only the number of players used but also the number of lineup combinations both teams have used. The difference is huge. It's often talked about that while the C's big 3 are all healthy, only one of them can be considered a true two way player. OKC has two, GSW has three.

I still don't think the series will be a short one. I noticed LBJ was not taking very good care of the ball when he slashes. Maybe if he starts traveling again he'll have the ball swiped out of his hands a lot less :D I'm teasing Cleveland fans but really, that ball got away from him a heck of a lot this last game.

Very good points, Jack. The Warriors this playoffs are more 'battle hardened' than their last season's. And coming out from the foxhole against an excellent OKC team not only gave them the best workout, it also rejuvenated their morale and somehow snapped the funk our of their bench players in Game 1, plus Harrison Barnes became his real self. And I really now appreciate the coaching abilities of Steve Kerr, throwing in multiple combinations and is not hesitant to give his bench lots of playing time if they're doing well while the starters sit. No worry about 'egos'. It's tough defending against such a group of players, and I think Lue spoke of adjusting to that.

As for traveling' James, I hope he doesn't read your suggestion, Jack. :D Talk about his classic 8 step journey for a counted hoop AND 1. :D Still anybody's series. James is hungry, and he's still dangerous as ever. I'm just hoping that as he ages each day, it slows his down. :D

Terrific game. Back and forth until only recently late in the 3rd with Curry on the bench with 4 fouls and Thompson and strong Dee take over and the Warriors lead by 16

69-53

Love out with what looks to be a concussion. LeBron looking tired and the strong Dee by GSW has put this game now the way it is

82-62 Warriors end of 3

James is looking tired, confused and outplayed

Tyronn Lue is just standing there and seems to have no answer to the barrage of 3's by Green and Thompson. As Mark Jackson said "the Warriors drain you and take away your will and desire to win "

Woah! Are the GSW that good? TRouncing the Cavs.. game was over with 10 mins to play... Impressive win. Cavs need to win Game 3 else .. it could be a sweep.

Great game by the Warriors, protecting home court. Now to get a road win. They're playing well oiled like their regular season selves. Always happy to see the Brazilian Blur being a microwave.

Interesting bit of trivia but they said James is the oldest player on the court

If Richard Jefferson isn't on the court. I thought Jefferson was as old as Jason Kidd.

But I don't mind James getting old real quick, then he can do his farewell tour. :D

Warriors - Thunder was the championship. Well let's see how the cavs respond at home.

I don't see how the Cavs can climb back. I thought it was going to be 6 games looks at best a 4-1 GSW Series win and a sweep is not out of the picture.

The Warriors IMO have made LeBron look somewhat tired and old and he comes across as a mere mortal against the Warriors with his turnovers.

Where will he take his traveling act and entourage next when he fails to win the title

When the Warriors were down 3-1 vs the Thunder I commented that IMO only the Warriors were capable of crawling back and winning. As good as the Cavs are I don't see them coming back. The question is whether they can make a series out of it by returning to Cleveland

Tyronn Lue looks so totally out coached. He has a blank stare on his face as he has no idea how to coach against the Warriors but then again no teams do when the Warriors are firing on all cylinders

The scary thing is they're not!! The Splash Brothers haven't made a splash..yet.
