About those triple-double statistics, shouldn't there Russell Westbrook or the Beard be very high up?

Here's the all-time list. 20191121_162420.jpg

The Bum is less than half of the Big O.

The Bum is less than half of the Big O.
Thanks for the info
So Russell will tie with Magic in 3 games and pass him in 4 games for all-time second ;)
And the Bum won't make it onto the Podium I guess (hope) :p

Hope not and he'll he have long way to top the Big O.

Let's see, suddenly, this first to have triple double against 30 teams thing confused me. Isn't a triple double is done against a team anyway? Like the Big O's 181 triple doubles were done against less than 30 teams? Or maybe that time the league had only 20 teams? How does that stat vs the all time list differ, or even become pertinent?

After thoughts on the C's vs Clips game. The silver lining in the loss is that it shows the Clips are very potent in the event of an all-LA war. :D Too bad the Warriors are out of it at the moment without their 2 big stars, but I'd like to see a strong Clippers, Rockets, Nuggets, Mavericks , Jazz provide some wedge against the Bum. :D

And moving into the C's, how bout Smart's D on Kawhi in the closing minutes, anticipating the pass and tapping the ball off Kawhi's foot. Intangibles of a smart Smart. :) And we hope to have Hayward back in January, hopefully he has been keeping fit somewhere. I like the team as it is now, but as Jack said, C's need a good big. Kanter seems to be the same Kanter, a few points and rebounds here and there. We need a big who can face up to monstrous Harrell. :D

This is what I call a good loss for the Celtics. Good because they ought to feel good at they way they played against a super charged team. That they almost won it before Lou Williams went berserk was a good sign too for this young team. And Kemba and Brown were having a bad night shooting, generally speaking. Great game and fair game. I hope we meet in the Finals. :D
Celtics should have won that game

Paul George is an amazing shooter

I have to feel for Steve Kerr and the GSW going from number one to the very last in the league. Last night was their largest loss that I can ever remember

Definitely a lottery team. I wouldn't be in a hurry to bring back Steph and I wouldn't play Klay at all this year

So after 18years looks as if Pau Gasol has made the circuit and is in forced retirement although he is looking for a coaching position with the e should have quit after he, Kobe and the Lakers era were over

...and the Celtics were playing without Gordon Hayward, too.

Never heard of Daniel Theis before last night. He was all over the court and clogging up the middle. Didn't realize he was playing ahead of Enes Kanter.

I was also impressed with Marcus Smart. He plays hard and without fear. He didn't flinch when standing up to and guarding Paul George.

Kemba Walker's talent will be better recognized playing for a big market team like the Celtics rather than Charlotte.

I always respected Pau Gasol. Great player and class act all the way around.

He likely did hang on a bit too long but I do hope he finds his way into coaching. Perhaps he'll work with the Spanish national team, too.

Daniel Theis was with the C's for maybe 3 years. Undersized center but has a good shooting hand (Euro League trait). More mobile than the lumbering Kanter. If you haven't seen our so called Time Lord Robert Williams, he can fly, and is a great shot blocker. He just needs more time, no pun intended.

There was a time when each time Smart shoots, I wince and say No. But this season he seems to be another guy, maybe practiced with a new shooting coach in the off-season. But his D is remarkable. Imagine him guarding the Unicorn in the Dallas game and actually bothering him, it was almost funny. He is like a small Draymond, sans the dirty kicks. :D

Kemba is feeling it, he can have off nights but he is a 25ppg scorer last season so he should help a lot.

Another thing I'd like to point out from the game was how strong Kawhi is. With that one handed slam in front of Theis and hanging on the ring with ONE hand. Tatum needs to see Kawhi's gym trainer. :D

And how bout Patrick Beverly. Hit those dagger 3s in key moments. Snared 16 boards at a height of 6'1", and had an Oscar worthy flop. Hit on the chin to the left, he turned his chin to the right with a absolutely fantastic grimace that Tatum was called for an offensive foul. :D

I liked him as well but he was past his prime

Luca Doncic is like a rampaging bull who can dribble and shoot, from way way out. The new superstar in the league. He might even out-unicorn the Unicorn. :D

Patrick Beverly is one of those players that you only like when he is on your team - same as Matt Barnes in that respect. I was no fan of Beverly when he played for the Rockets but I do like his hard and gritty play for the Clippers. ;)

The New Orleans Pel-Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns tonight in Phoenix 124-121.

Brandon Ongram led the Pels with 28 and former Clipper JJ Redick had 26.
