Im betting the players will receive vaccine which was approved today in the UK and will be available in the USA by next week

Having d=said that you can't force someone to receive a vaccine so yes Phil my guess is that even with empty arenas there will be outbreaks and I'm betting games will be postponed and rescheduled rather than canceled. The owners are wallowing in debt and need to recoup theoir losses from commercials of televised games.

My bet is that it won't be until the 2021-2022 season that everyone can start living their lives and watch the game in the arenas

I don't think it's arrogant to say the Lakers 'can' repeat as champion. Every team in every sport who won a championship the year prior says that.

Well Steve, I guess I pegged him all wrong during the bubble season. I thought he needed the fans to motivate him. I was wrong. After seeing those 4 fingers (both hands) and the bark out to those who hate him 'I want my damn respect', I have to recalibrate my views on the guy.His motivation is to tie and surpass Jordan's 6 rings. While I do not doubt that the Lakers absolutely can repeat, I am now surprised he didn't say 'I can absolutely repeat'.

My own armchair analysis. Kawhi and George are almost a repetition in their styles of play. I felt this from the start. That is why I can see Doc putting George as a spot up shooter or else Kawhi would be the one. Ibaka is a good fit now, IMO, but still they need starters with who can shoot 3s, and I don't think Beverly and Reggie Jackson are the guys do to it. Lou, has the chicken wing problem.
