For Q3 2024, Innuos will release two music servers / streamers that look nearly identical but differ by processing power and storage type.

Just been reading about two new streamers from Innuos. Am I alone in finding is strange that some manufacturers continue to ignore SFP ports in favour of Ethernet?
I was wondering, at one point, if an MSB Renderer v3 would feature an SFP cage. Instead the Digital Director provides that optical link, for all the inputs. I run optical from a hub to an etherRegen, then copper Ethernet cable to the MSB. I did this for ease, cosmetics, and to prevent that leg of internet from running in parallel with power, and USB cables.
When I originally tried fiber I assumed the cable and transceivers made no difference. How wrong I was.
When I tried it with quality finisar transceivers I was amazed how much better it was vs Ethernet.
I previously used an Aqua LinQ with a very good, isolated, Ethernet connection but the dedicated SFP port in my Rose RS130 is remarkable, hence why I am surprised that more manufacturers aren't implemented it.

Again, not everyone agrees with the fiber/copper conclusions you have drawn. It is not universal. It is great that it has improved for you but other manufacturers have concluded that copper sounds better with their technology.
