Taiko Audio Extreme Router

My JCAT Optimo Duo LPS is dual rail 12V 3amps per side. Right now I'm only powering the switch and home router. Do you know if 3amps will be enough for connecting to DCD for Router and the Switch?
For the Router and the Taiko Switch, I think with 3 A, no problem.

Am wondering about the power supplies which people are using with their Routers / DCDs. I know that some use the Sean Jacobs ones but which others are in play...?
Long user of a Kenneth Lee PSU and trying to upgrade, tried a Keces P14 with worst results. Thought about Farad Super 6 but, per Emile’s advice ordered a Uptone JS-2.

Olympus #25 arrived in NJ on Monday, 3 days ago.. Bob Visitainer made the drive from Brooklyn on Tuesday to help set it up and help me place it on a shelf that is 5.5" high. . At this point, the only comment I wish to make is that I discovered the greatest accessory I have ever bought for my audio system.

This wonderful and essential device made 2 old men very happy!

I've only explored USB out at this point while waiting for the HDMI KBL cable to break in. Currently struggling with transfer of Roon data from the Extreme but all in good time.

(Also, I'm another happy customer with the Uptone JS-2 which I have been using with the DCD for over a year.)

How big is the platform? I assume the Extreme or Olympus hangs off the edges?

Uptone JS-2 here. One rail only.

I have a Zayin Suprareg and a Plixir Statement. I use Taiko DCD to filter the DC to the Taiko Router, Taiko switch, cable modem, and SDD NAS.
Gotta ask: how do you like the Zayin versus the Plixir? I'm considering both.

Greeting @VPN, for your Zayin, did you select the 6Amp version or the 10Amp « HC » version. Regardless, I am looking forward to your findings on this purpose built LPS.

Forgive me for not knowing the details of your use-case (I.E., voltage output requirements).

Thank you! Re-tread

I just replaced a 12V Plixir Elite supply with a Zayin Suprareg 12V/6A (thanks @CKKeung) feeding the DC distributor, router and switch. The DC cables that come with the Suprareg are excellent. I asked for one short one (12") and one standard length. I cut the standard length into two 12" pieces and terminated it with the same Oyaide DC connectors as used by Zayin. Using those between the DCD and router, switch.
As someone else already said the DCD, router and switch really take to power supply improvements. The difference between the Plixir with 2' long cables and the Zayin with 1' cables is clearly audible. Music sounds more solid and calmer. Like it is coming from a local source. I very much prefer the sound with the Suprareg with short cables.
It was a worthwhile upgrade IMHO.
My Extreme is sounding so good right now that I have trouble comprehending how my Olympus and I/O could sound any better. But I will find out as mine is shipping this week.

I said the same thing. Be prepared to be gobsmacked. The Extreme on its own is simply fantastic and then when you hear the Olympus, you can't unring that bell. Let us know your thoughts when you get it
