It’s viable for all tonearms. I changed couple of tonearms from various brands. Besides upgrading to kondo silver wire getting rid of vhd silver wire is equally important.

VHD silver has that much colouration to it? Or you just don't like the tone they have?
Compared to the price of the tonearm this is a relatively affordable upgrade.

I don’t like the sound of vdh silver inner cable. it’s lifeless, making every instrument sound as if they’re made from cardboard and unpleasant to listen to. even the noname copper cable or 50 year old copper cable that can be found inside 3009 SII is better than vdh IMHO.
I’ve listened kuzma 4p, AS axiom, SME V, V-12, 3009 SII, technics, techdas, graham, thales statement, simplicity II etc. with kondo inner cables and all with good sound. I had a chance to compare some tonearms before and after, stock inner cable vs kondo. every time kondo was better.

That's good to know. A few years ago I replaced wire inside a simple Pro-Ject turntable with Cardas and it was a very nice upgrade. So that's something you can do to any turntable regardless of price.
Back to the Transrotor, I'm wondering if they will make more models for their tonearms to use in lower models instead of Rega.
