Newbie consideration, Technics or Kuzma?

the technics has the high-torque motor so that brighter tuned cartridge can quickly sound thinner and more unnatural. a good match was always dynavector or emt cartridge because they sound fuller in the lower midrange and bass. exsample emt with technics have real punch makes real fun.

My pleasure, i would recommend a dynavector xx 2mk II low with 1:20 sut arround 120ohm at 47 kiloohm input runs perfect. if you listen to it for several days, you will find many other cartridges uncomfortable. that's how it was for me anyway, a whole hard drug that's hard to get rid of.

I think I don't need SUT. I have an Accuphase C47.
