NFL Start Of Season

I gave the edge to the Pack because of QB playoff experience. I could be wrong. That's why they play the game.

I agree with you there Greg but home field will mean a lot and Kaepernick gets better each game but it is sure nervous time

IMO the Sea Hawks are the most impressive right now but still odds favor the Falcons

The Pack is going to fall in SF Frantz although I am concerned about David Akers still being the designated FG kicker

This is Aron Rodgers one of the three best QB in the league (the others, Brady and p. Manning) vs Kaepernick playing his first playoff game, the odds are not in his favor. Frank Gore has to beat the Packs who stopped AP last week.

I completely agree but may I remind you that "on any given Sunday".....:)

The X factor with Kaepernick is that he has nerves of steel. Nothing bothers him and unlike Smith he can throw the ball a mile with great accuracy and he can take off and run as well. Hopefully it will be a good game and may the best team win.

Nobody is afraid of the SF offensive. Despite the fact they have one of the great deep threats (Randy Moss). If else he is a decoy for double coverage. He's like Sanatan Moss. Just chunk it out there and he'll go get it.

Maybe the old Randy :(

Looks like Jim Harbough will be considered a genius given how badly SF/Kapernick beat up on GreenBay. What a shellacking!

Baltimore beats Broncos in OT in Denver 38-35. Amazing game

As I said Frantz "on any given Sunday"

".....on any given Sunday"

Well Frantz my good buddy I hope you now are eating some humble pie :) because young Colin Kaepernck is an absolute star. Destroys the Packers 45-31 and he himself leads all rushers with 183 yards (record for a QB) and over 500 yard on total offense and scores 2 TD's

To the Ravens and 49ers

Saw the highlights of the Niners' win and wow, was it impressive. Kap can pass and he can run! Steel nerves too. Hope they go all the way. Happy for the city of San Francisco. They can win another big title after the World Series.

Hey Steve let's not get to cocky. I recall when you expressed doubt over the change in QB. Remember your discussion of a QB not losing his job due to an injury. See posts 141-3 where I explained to you he Kapernacki was promoted to run the read option. Who knew GB would be completely unprepared to defend it?

As for Denver. I thought they would wilt against the Pats not the Ravens. Peyton continues to look mediocre in the playoffs. As of now he is till the second best QB at the Manning family dinner. Denver needs a Terrel Davis. Two of Denvers' TDs were scored by special teams.

I couldn't watch the games !! :(
And I am trying to digest my humble pie.. hard ..:)
Anyhoo, Congrats to the Niners!!! They deserve it.. , we'l see how the Seahawks will do, it's been great. I expect to watch the games today!

Seems like Peyton woes continue for the Playoffs... I was expecting a Brady-Manning showdown for the AFC championship.. How wrong have my predictions be? :b I am sticking to Audio predictions for now :D

For all of the hoopla surrounding Manning going to Denver, at the end, he didn't win when it really counted and made some very poor throwing decisions. Even the hated/despised/mocked/ridiculed Tim Tebow won one of the playoff games for Denver.

Playoff Manning is E not P. ;)

The thing with tebow is NFL coaches have seen him play in practices and have not been convinced .. consistently. We may have to give the Pro some credits. There has to be more than one reason why most teams are staying away from him. Coaches have clearly shown they're not afraid to put: Russel Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, RGIII, Luck, etc in important games and these guys have shown how good they truly are.. Meanwhile all coaches are avoiding Tebow like the plague .. There must be something wrong with him. We are after all living in an era where people are famous just ..for being .. famous. e.g Kim Kardishian. Tebow seems to be the football equivalent.

Greg, I did express some concern on the quarter back change at mid season. Wouldn't you. I also feel bad for Alex Smith because he has shown himself to be a gentleman and a star in the whole scheme of things. The interesting thing is that the 9ers could lose their offensive co-ordinator this year to Jacksonville where he will interview for the head coaching position and Alex Smith could go with him as they also need a QB.

Having said that, watching yesterday's game dis-spelled any concerns about Kaepernick at the helm or the solidity of the 9ers team. They look rock solid and the entire team is juiced behind Kaepernick

Now wouldn't it be a thought if the Baltimore wins the East and the 9ers the west and we have a Jim and John Harbaugh Super Bowl (sorry Audioguy ;) )

Guys, would would we even be talking about Peyton if Denver's defense didn't make that atrocious play? That's who deserves the blame IMHO. As I read in one book a long time ago written by a former NFL defensive player, if our offense scores 21 pts., we should win. Denver put 35 up on the board and that should have won. No Denver's vaunted defense couldn't get it done against what I consider an average offense!

Good point Myles, although the Bronco's scored two touchdown's on kick returns....
