I have fond memories of a trip there with the family in 2013. Been back a couple of times since, once in heavy snow, because they have one of the best concert halls in the world and a superb orchestra. Beethoven, Mozart, Bruckner and Kalevi Aho.

I had taken lot of memorable photos over there during 10 days in 2016.
I would like to be back.
They have some very famous old grass churches, which look like something from Lord of the Rings, and this one in the middle of Reykavik.
The have a National Bacon Day, great for the non-Jews, when the really let their hair down. Some poor sod has to wear the pig outfit.
(As a retired professional wildlife conservationist, I've been blessed with the opportunity to travel to East Africa more than thirty times. This is from two weeks ago, just as the sun was going down...).

That's a good picture. Where exactly is that?
I must admit I hate oversaturated photography. It makes sense in some commercial photography, but not landscape. A chap at my local store (Leica Mayfair) always used to say that the best editing is when you can't see it's edited.
This one was harder than normal, I had to use two Lee filters (10x and 5x) to do a 30s exposure in full sunlight.
