The Grevy's Zebra is the largest of the wild equids, and - to me - the most elegant and noble of the zebras. Sadly, there are only between 2,000 and 3,000 left in the world, so seeing one is a rare privilege. The surviving population is largely thanks to my friend Ian Craig, who converted his family's former cattle ranch into the Lewa Conservancy in Kenya.
