Post your female vocal videos

Is this better ( streaming YT / Meitner DAC )?
Final filter adjustments ( measuring ) are done and a different speaker position /less side reflections .
(Filter is not soldered , just in crocodile beaks )

This is about the best i can do digitally , next time i will have to get a Wadax ;)

Which album has that particular version? I’ve looked online and can’t find it.

60 second clip of Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance) played back on personal audio system.

Ampex 400A tube Repro - One For The Road, Jacintha, 15ips NAB Reel To Reel

Love this Canadian artist!

Never quite sure how to respond to these videos. Having heard her live, although amplified , in a fairly intimate church setting I can say her recordings only give you a hint of her talent. The video is nice and representative of her album sound.

Yes I imagine she sounds nothing like she does on her digitally recorded album.

I saw her at the Canadian cultural center in Paris a few years ago. I went out of curiosity, with some other audiophiles. I find her music very boring, and I can't say seeing her live changed my mind.

Among the "audiophile playlist" singers the gold medal has to go to Annette Askvik, who not only can't sing but gets a special mention for trite lyrics:

"Our bodies are hurting like hell
They promised to never leave us alone
Our hearts are breaking like bones
They're picking stars like apples from the sky
Threatening to throw them in sea"

In comparison, "Birds" is a masterpiece :)

To each their own, different strokes for different folks.

I even like country singers such as Rosanne Cash. I find her 10 Song Demo album especially entertaining. You probably won't find her on the usual "audiophile playlist" but I would nominate her "Price of Temptation".

Does being on the " audiophile playlist" make a piece of music bad or less worthy?

I can't say I would want to live on a steady diet of either Annette or Dominique either but I don't find them boring, that would be pretentious of me.

But I am being "pretentious". Ok.
Your original comment struck me that way with the inclusion of the "audiophile playlist". Perhaps you aren't.

I should have stuck with the sage advice of "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all". My apologies if I struck a nerve, it was not my place to comment on your taste in music. I looked at your channel and it appears we appreciate a lot of the same music, lol!

That is good advice that I generally try to follow. Sometimes I just can't resist.

Dawn Penn (Jamaican reggae singer) -- You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)

A newer extended version of the 1994 worldwide hit -- worth a fresh listen.
