Puget Audio Fest

Genesis Prime Plus—Studer C37–Gary Koh—Gary’s effort to assemble this room is epic. Ki Choi also brought his Nagra IV-S with QGB 10.5” adapter. They recorded a live Sax and then played it back. Sounded live other than limited by the ambient single Neumann stereo mic.

Gobel Divin Noblesse—Wadax Ref Dac and Server—CH M10–Bending Wave

Best sound at the show to my ears so far. speakers working well in the room, source nails it, great amp. Bass impactful, clear mids, sweet extended highs. Immersive, involving.

2 more days to find better. Edit; Saturday at 3:21, still favorite sound. A number of other solid performing rooms.

Thank you for taking and posting these photos, Mike!

I think the exhibits of the Acappellas, the Genesis Primes, the Alsyvoxes, the Gobels and the Von Schweikerts right off the bat make this Pacific show superior to T.H.E. Show Long Beach.
