Rhapsody.Audio- Listening Rooms (RLRs)

Rhapsody.Audio would like to announce that within the next 3-4 months there will be multiple new locations where several of the product lines that Rhapsody.Audio represents will be available to audition via Rhapsody.Audio Listening Rooms (RLRs).

Initially, the RLR’s will have the products available for demonstration mentioned below. Upon opening, the DFW RLR will have a very similar product offering as that available at Rhapsody.Audio in Manhattan.

Over time, all locations will be expanding their portfolio to a comparable scale as that of NYC/DFW.

The RLRs will be available to host auditions by appointment. All product ordering and delivery logistics will be processed and supported from the Rhapsody.Audio NYC location.

Product assistance and installation will be supported by Rhapsody.Audio NYC along with the RLRs depending on customer location.

It's a little more than just advertising copy, but not much, IMO. Although the reviewer does speak to specific experiences of specific recordings, the "over the top" tone of comments is hard to take/believe. Such commentary as "Unlike many other high-end loudspeakers, exotic and esoteric materials and components are used where they are needed and not randomly placed for the sake of it." are self-impeaching BS to me. It's like a breathless statement of "Finally, we have found the One True God!" Oi. "Reviewers"...

 

We have another LM 1 review coming from Key Kim/Positive Feedback in the future. Key has been living with the LM1s for 6 months now, playing them with tubes/SS and digital/vinyl.

On the flip side since the M/S "advertisement" came out Miguel in Spain has one demo scheduled for the LM 1 and we have one LM1 demo and one LM3 demo scheduled.

Many people like to hear about the company and how the speakers are made. It gets them interested enough to have them schedule a demo. It serves its purpose for some, even though it does not work for everyone.

 

I really enjoyed these speakers in Munich this year despite them being in one of the "inferior" box rooms in the main halls, and went back a few times to listen to them. There was no one particular feature which stood out, but they just sounded "right". They are also exquisitely made & finished, although the design may not be to everyone's taste. You can pick up some of this from the article, so it's a shame that the hyperbole ends up over-riding this.
